Wanting to buy the comb that attachs to the conair blow dryer number 1875 can you tell me where to buy the comb?

f the ALCI turns off the power to your hair dryer turn it off and then unplug it. Then press the reset button and plug it back in Just plug the hair dryer back in press test, and the dryer should stop working. To get it working again unplug it and press the reset button. It could be that your hair dryer has stopped working and you need a new one.

Looking at prices there are no repair parts available other than comb or nozzle hood. google your model number parts and have a look.

I got the manual for my 256 model, saw that the filter is in fact removable. I tried fingernail, plastic spludger, finally metal flat head screwdriver, sort of went around until the cover popped off. When it was off I could see that there are slots that the cover fits into, it unlocks when you twist the cover and then it removes easily. Mine was stuck so I had to use force, but afterwards, with the twist out of the slots method there is no problem.

I found a list of all their instruction booklets for hair dryers (some are 1875 watts) but they don't have the Yellow Bird:

Con air 1875 ,the silver ovals on each side of the dryer are set in with clips ,i took a fine flat head scew driver a gently between the base of the dryer an the siver ovals pryed it backwards ,the whole assembly came off . then lifted the screen out with screw driver slowly and cleaned the lint out . Then reassemabled in the same way i took apart.

The lock or the thermostat might be damaged, get them replaced.
