SOURCE: stops after printing 1 job

A reboot likely fixed this problem already, or at least freed up the corrupted print job enough to be able to delete it out of queue.

However, if this is a reocurring problem, a corrupted printer driver could be the cause. Try reinstalling the drivers.

SOURCE: I am getting a 5mm dark bar on the lead edge of a print job

try drum refresh and developer refresh... make sure your firmware is current... if possible reset your print card... physically and software wise... make sure that the guides on your paper trays are a good fit... change the default paper tray for print jobs and see if that helps... if it does... then its the tray... if not then call service...

SOURCE: Printer 966. Deleting Print Job stuck in Que

Sounds like a problem with the spooler.
Try to bypass the spooler when printing by right clicking on your printer and select "properties"

Select the "advanced" tab and select "print directly to the printer".
Hoepfully this should take care of it.

SOURCE: i'm trying to delete a print job and the job will

Try turning off BOTH the printer and computer and unplugging the printer from the PC. Reboot PC and printer, then plug the printer to the PC. This should delete any remaining print jobs.

Fan not rotatating

Usually just a dead fan; they lead a hard life. You might get it running temporarily by stripping it down and relubricating the bearings - but given the amount of dismantling involved, you're better off just getting a new fan motor and doing the job once.

MY HP LaserJet 2840 has a brand new Toner cartridge. Now it won't print at all and we are getting a "OPC at end of life" prompt. What does this mean?

Imaging drum reach 20,000 (black only) or 5,000 (color), replace the image drum.

Supplies life
The life of the imaging drum depends on the number of black-only or color pages that print jobs
require. Imaging-drum life is also affected each time the device calibrates because calibrating causes the imaging drum to rotate. Imaging-drum life is measured in terms of number of rotations rather than number of pages printed.
The type and length of print jobs also affects drum life. A series of short print jobs uses more drum
life than an equivalent number of pages printed in a single large job. To extend drum life, print
multiple copies of a print job at one time rather than sending the same job to the device multiple times.
The life of a print cartridge depends on the amount of toner that print jobs require. When printing text at 5% coverage, black print cartridges last an average of 5,000 pages and cyan, magenta, and
yellow print cartridges last an average of 2,000 pages. High-capacity cyan, magenta, and yellow print cartridges last an average of 4,000 pages. (A typical business letter has 5% coverage.)
