We have a Swintec 2640 and occasionally the #8 will not print clearly. It looks like the 8 is overlapping or doubled up. That is the only number or letter that is doing this. Any suggestions?

your'e not going to find one for free, if there is a repair shop. take it there (call first) and someone can prabably answere any questions you might have. try "google" or manual.pronto.com

try pressing the FN key at the same time as the number key.

The FN is a modifier key and when pushed the same time as another key, it changes what the button does usually. Many of these alternate functions can be found on the F buttons along the top of the keyboard.

It sounds like a piece of paper is wrapped around the fuser roller. Look in the rear of the machine with a flashlight.
