I will try a new main board first. The EEP ROM is damaged, the TV could not fully boot.

Sorry... this is not a solution, but I wanted to speak directly to you and didn't know how else to communicate with you!! OMG!! My t.v. does the exact same thing!! The power issue and the sound going out after it has been on for a while!! Have you called Samsung yet? I hear they have horrible customer service. Maybe if we get enough people with the same problem we can get something done about it!!

Be sure the power cord is plugged in to the a/c outlet fully. Take a table lamp and plug in the same outlet to verify power is good. If no power, check for circuit breaker tripped in main breaker box.
If problem seems to stay with tv, I would contact seller. You should have at least nine months of warranty left.

Make sure you have it set to wireless off in the menu or it will not recognise the ethernet port on the back even if it is flashing. Most tvs with browsers come with the wirless function set to on. Also if it has search for internet signal you could try this to get it to rec. as well.

For best performance I recommend you connect a HDMI cable from the PS3 to the HDMI input on your TV.
To display the PS3 you need to select the HDMI input on your TV.
