Hi,
This is a very common problem for most Dells this age.
You can try this repair if you feel comfortable.
Remove the keyboard by removing the power button bar (just gently pry up from the right side working left)
re-insert the mouse cable which is coming from the pad/palm rest. Re-assemble.
Check if all the screws on bottom of the unit are tight, especially around the palm rest area.
Good luck

SERVICE MODE WARNING:
Without proper documentation Don't mess around with the service mode adjustments unless you know what you're doing and have the service manual to guide you.
Once you enter service mode the first thing you should do is record all the original values BEFORE you change anything! - This is the only way to restore the television to its original (factory default) state should it become necessary to do so.
Then, bring up the cross-hatch pattern by repeated pressing of the TV/VIDEO button. You can then use the volume Up/Down buttons to change the PARA settings, this should cause the grid to bow in (concave) and out (convex). Adjust until the grid is the most linear.
The numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 jump to different items. 9 displays SELF CHECK
The number 7 displays a grid. There's a blinking cursor in the upper left corner. The numbers 2,4,6,8 move the cursor. 3 cycles the colors (RGB), 5 stops the cursor from blinking, then when you push 2,4,6,8, you are adjusting the convergence at that point for the selected color. Pushing 7 again gives you a "warped" grid for a few moments. Pushing 7 again removes the grid from the screen.
If you're attempting to adjust color or geometry errors, you'll need the Video Essentials DVD, Laser Disc or some other source of test material.

Setting Your Monitor to NTSC Specifications by Anthony W Haukap

Sounds like the image tube may have shifted in its mounting? This sometimes occures when the night vision has been subjected to an impact or dropped sometime in its life. Repair is not cost effective for a 150 / Gen2.

Try clicking the auto adjust button on the screen. If this doesn't work it may be in demo mode, so click the fENGINEbutton on the monitor and make sure it is selected on the normal setting.
SOURCE: TV all the sudden started curving the picture
This is caused by either a flyback transformer or the IC chip that controls convergence and screen display.
This is not tuneable as a DIY from any external controls It has to be replaced and tested in situ to ensure correct alignment of the display. Don't be convinced that this is just a board swap or DIY project. So many think they will save money by swapping the board, but other elements in the circuit as yet not failed entirely have caused this to occur
Use a professional service to repair it properly otherwise the problems will continue after a time even with a replaced board.
