Samsung tv has horizontal lines plus when connecting any HDMI or clicking Menu button, screen blurs slowly until all is white.

When i switch back from HDMI to any Air channel, after a few seconds, image is returned back to normal. Is this case of T-Con or Main Board? Thanks!

If it shows horizontal lines, in most of the case is a defective display panel.

If the TV receives air signal is OK, the problem is the main board.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the response. But i´m not sure it´s the display panel, as if i disconnected any HDMI, the TV goes back to normal. If i use only TV Air channels, it works well."

This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.

Screen not working, replaced boards, now I've got white horizontal lines?

If your screen is displaying white horizontal lines after replacing the boards, it is likely that the new boards are not properly connected. Make sure that the boards are securely connected to the screen and that the power switch is in the "on" position. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the boards or contact the manufacturer for assistance.

My led samsung tv has a horizontal line and the upper right corner shows a white vertical lines

Not good. You may have a tab failure. A repair shop may be able to diagnose and repair this, but most likely the lcd panel is broken. The panel is the most expensive part of flat tv's. A new panel will cost more than a used tv.

I have a white line in my TV screen

could be as simple as a bad HDMI cable or a bad connection on the LCD screen to system board cable this is internal so harder to repair. It may be a bad LCD screen, which is not really repairable as spares are hard to find (no two alike) and expensive as a new TV.

I have similar issues with my Samsung TV model LN55A950... all I did was take the back cover off...unplugged the two wide ribbon cables of the panel from the T-Con board, then turned it on...I waited for a minute until everything normalized. at first, all i see were similar lines...horizontal pin stripes on white background...white background because the panel is not connected to any image source. Then all lines are gone, after the 'normalization." you should only see white all through out. I then turned the unit off...connected the two cables back, turned it back on...voila! my TV is back to normal viewing, no more lines!!!

Horizontal white lines on TV screen, all channels. I have tried to adjust everything through the menu button.

The picture tube is been over-driven by an open resistor on the video board, a quick fix is to slowly turn down the high voltage screen control on the fly-back transformer ( one is focus "don't touch" and the other is marked screen "turn anti-clockwise" until lines just disappear.

My game keeps getting horizontal lines of distortion. I think its pecause of my ps3 or tv settings. How do I stop this?

Actually, it may be your laser/lens.

ry accessing the recovery menu 'safe mode' 1st.

Press and hold the power button until the systems shuts off. (wait 2 seconds)

Press and hold the power button again until you here 3 beeps. Let go.

If you have a HDMI cable, plug it up, if you have AV plug it in as well. If you have both settings on your TV, be sure to have them both inserted into the system. Also, make sure that you are switching your TV from HDMI to AV and vice versa.

It should ask you to connect your controller via usb and press the PS button in

the middle of your controller. There will be a menu with 6 options. Try 2-5.

If you still are getting the horizontal lines, chanes are it's your laser/lens.

This is the 2nd most common problem with PS3's. This isn't a bad problem. Your laser/lens will need to be replaced. There are many videos on youtube if you would like to do it yourself (I would advise you not to). I recommend that you find a technician who has experience. There are many things that can go wrong.

I have just purchased a 46" samsung led tv @100hz

Try resetting the entire video/audio settings to default. The blur on the picture may indicate that your motherboard is going bad. Recently there was a customer who had the same problem. It was his board. When we tried the AV cables, the blur went away. We tried different HDMI cables and the blur was still there when using HDMI output. It wasn't the TV, and it wasn't the HDMI cables. It was the board going bad.

Just got this tv from friend. has no remote. screen is black. sound is good. when you push menu button, white line goes across horizontally the screen.

The horizontal line indicates the vertical deflection circuit is not working. Either the set is stuck in service mode for adjusting color (turns off vertical), or the deflection circuit has failed.

Some RCA TV sets have a "Service" switch in the back, down near the bottom of the set. Most of the newer sets use a combination of remote control and front panel buttons to get into service mode, and that can be turned off by unplugging the set and plugging it back in. Try looking for the mechanically operated service switch in the back first.

I have owned an emerson tv for two years now. All of a sudden the picture has become very blurry and white. It is not the cable connection and a DVD is also white and blurry. Even the input channels are...

you must open the back cover of tv, and then things you should do is set "SCREEN" adjustment on the flyback transformer. you must turn it counterclockwise to reduce and decrease the level of screen brightness. turn screen adjustment gradually until the horizontal blanking lines disappear from the screen. and blurred images will be sharp again
