Irrigation pump tripping the breaker circuit.

I have a sta-rite irrigation pump and whenever I turn on the timer, the pump trips the breaker circuit. what could be problem? The model # is DS3HF-01. I have already changed the capacitor, start pump relay, seal, and the diffuser ring because it was leaking. the strangest thing is that it was working before I fixed the leak.

This could be a lot of things. You need to post the model number for better info, but it could be:

1. A capacitor in the motor is bad.
2. There is a floating voltage affecting a GFI.
3. There is a load factor on the armature.

SOURCE: Pump is not running, or it keep tripped the circuit breaker

If it hums, and there is no water moving then you could have a bad starting capacitor, but if the motor is old, and has been running louder than usual in the recent months then it could be that the motor needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: Jura Impressa S9 Steamer trips circuit breaker

Hi
There`s probably an leakage from the steamblock, and the water flows over the contacts. This will short circuit the machine. Contact your dealer or nearest servicepartner and they will fix it with a new water connector.

SOURCE: Breaker trips when pump is turned on

make sure the amperage on the motor doesn't need more than the breaker you have. it should tell you on the name palte or the manual how many amps it uses under a workload. if it's worked before this, then maybe the motor is seizing or has a short.

Have deep well vetical sta rite pump both pipes in ground staying full of water will not pump press does not looose prime but wont build press

shut off pump breaker at the lowest faucet drain completely. Turn it back on. If this doesn't work, you have to change out the pressure valve on the side of the tank. it's not hard.

I have booster pump on irrigation that keeps tripping regular GFI. Purchased QO115GFIC circuit breaker for panel. Will this alleviate tripping problem?

It may or may not, depending on the root cause of the GFI tripping. If the GFI is faulty (which does happen) then yes. However if you have a problem with the motor or the circuit to the motor then you will still have issues and the GFI was doing it's job.
Since you already purchased one go ahead and install it and see if it works then go from there.
Good luck

Sta-Rite 1HP inground pool pump Every time the pump turns on it trips the breaker, after taking the motor appart and lubing it up I could get it going but once off for a period of time on startup it will...

Any time an electrical appliance trips a breaker there is only several causes:
1 - appliance is pulling more amperage than the breaker was built for.
2 - breaker is faulty
3 - a "hot" wire is touching "ground"
4 - screws (where wire is attached) in the pump or breaker are loose

1 - If the appliance is pulling more amperage than the breaker (or wiring) will allow, then check the appliance to see what amperage it's rated at. If this is more than the breaker will allow, you'll have to plug the appliance into a circuit that will take that amperage. If the appliance rating is within the limits of the wiring & breaker, then check #2, #3 or #4 above. If everything is okay with the remaining possibilities, then you have problems within the pump. Do it yourself'ers usually have a bad time when they open an electric motor. I suggest you take the motor to a electric motor repair shop or seek help from the Sta-Rite pump Customer Service.
