The volume won't work on the Toshiba CT-90262 remote control panel

I think problem is from the control board. The board works with the TV buttons and that's where the remote sensor is. If the board is defective or dead, the buttons won't work and the remote won't work as well.

Disconnect the AC power for at least one minute to reset the clock running inside the circuit.
Adjust Volume to Minimum using the Volume Down button on the front panel of the TV.
Press and Hold the Volume Down button on the front panel of the TV and the "Zero" button on the remote control at the same time, holding them down for at least 10 seconds.
The user menu will appear with the V-Chip cursor blinking.
Press ENTER key on the remote control and the NEW PASSWORD menu will appear.
Enter your new password. OK.

What is the model number and manufacturer of the TV you are trying to control with the CT-90157 remote?

Not all IR codes are programmed into all remotes.

If you only want to control the volume and channels, then a "Oneforall" remote will work. If you want to sell the toshiba vc-661T remote, email me. [email protected]

According to Toshiba, the CT-90121 isn't a universal remote control. This remote only works with TOSHIBA TVs with the following model numbers:

32AFX62, 32AFX63, 32HFX72, 34HDX82, 36AFX62, 36AFX63, 36FX72, 36HFX72, 42HDX52, 42HDX82, 50HX70, 57HDX82, 57HL83, 57HLX82, 65HDX82, 65HLX83

Unless you posted the wrong remote model number (?) your Toshiba remote isn't going to work with your RCA TV.
