You can test the erase LED while still installed in the machine. However, I recommend to first remove the Erase LED assembly. Then reassemble the drum in the machine. Next, cheat the top cover interlock switch, and place the machine into diagnostics, then run 09-66. This turns the eraser LED on. I usually hold the LED assembly and gently shake it as vibration will often uncover the weaknesses in the assembly. If a section turns off, flashes, or does not light at all, you know what to do. Otherwise, I leave the LED on until the timer function turns the assembly off.

Hallo, i have xerox phaser 3200 i want ask something why when i turn on the printer warming up progress can't finish (always warming up)

Srri but this is a fuser failure. The lamp has probably blown so it cannot generate any heat. best buy a new fuser unit. A lot of the machine has to come apart to fit it. You would be better taking it a shop for them to repair it.

Xerox XA3-17 makes noise, flashing, than nothing happens.

Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

My Xerox XG-91D LCD Monitor start, display briefly (about 1 or 2 secs) then goes back. any solution in this case? mention that i use with a dvi-i adaptor on a vga graphic card. thx

I would try VGA to VGA hook up first to narrow down the problem before start taking the monitor apart.

Phaser 8560 smudging problem

previous image on a copy are from two things
1-the blanking lamps that erase the image from the drum from the previous copy, and making it ready for the next image is bad

2- the fuser roller is bad and retaining the image on it.

My machine shows a U4 code

U4 code refers to a fuser heat failure, you'll probable find the fuser roll is stone cold .Possible cause is open circuit heater or overheat thermostat popped.Either way you will need to pull out the fuser unit and check continuity of the components
