It is still working fine, but uncomfortable leaving it on. Is there a fan or some type of bearing that may need to be replaced? The manual I have does not provide any instructions for taking apart to look and see what is going on.
If it’s the one like move, vibration comes from the pump that takes reservoir water to be evaporated. Mine never seems to shut off and is noisy because there’s no water. And eventually it throws an e4 error saying that some water store is full. I can hear compressor come on nicely and quietly. I’ve cleaned the float switch area that was filthy. I was unable to easily remove and fully clean the inside of the donuts. Perhaps the funk is interfering with the float switch. Next step is to research these float switches for how they work. There in another float switch that is not connected anywhere, nor is there a place that it could connect to.

Or, you have coins in your pump casing. Look on the back of the washer, and unscrew the circular port in the bottom right corner. (Keep an 8x13 baking pan underneath, water will escape once you open the chamber). Remove and change/objects from the chamber and replace the port. You should be good to go. This is actually very common for this model washer.

it could be a worn motor bearing, but they usually last for 20 years, i would guess that you have a worn drum roller, the thing that holds up the drum and looks like a wheel.
if your sure the motor has a worn bearing then replacing the motor is not easy as you have to unscrew the blower wheel from the motor shaft.
it also may be that you are talking about the idler pulley being worn. it is the device that holds tension against the belt and they also will wear out and be "wobbly"

It sounds like the fan has etached from its hub. This usually is not repairable if that's the case. Replace the fan.
SOURCE: Hampton Bay fan bearing noise
its not the bearings sounds like you need to level the mount and that scraping it the fan blade mounting plate hitting the side of the 'case' that surrounds the motor assembly ive never heard of bearings in the motor going or needing lubrication other than what factory placed in them...remember Hampton Bay is the Yugo of electric appliances too
