I would suggest verifying 6 volts output from the battery. From there, check the reed switch connection on the power control board. Also verify the gap between the reed switch and the magnet on the pulley. It needs to be close enough to the magnet to get a good reading. check the battery or alternator that charges it. battery is usually front end and alt is in the back. if this is not it it could be the the controller board
