And then it gives a code 6 ( Throttle trip.) This is on full charge battery.
More than likely it has a bad battery or cell in the battery even though it shows a full charge. Once under a load the power drops below 17 volts which shuts the unit down momentarily. Then when it powers back above 17 volts because you have the throttle partially depressed it trips the code 6. Have the batteries load tested and you will see one is bad.
Solution: new batteries

You shouldn't need to full throttle constantly. , or at least let up on it periodically so it can dump some heat
SOURCE: Pride Celibrity 3 wheel electric scooter. The motor isn't working
the click is the electric brakes releasing , most likly the problem you are having is the brushes in the motor may be shot cheap easy fix on each side of the motor there should be what looks like a flat head screw those are the brush covers remove them and check them replace as need , otherwise the motor may be shot

Make sure that the manual brake release/freewheel lever is enaged as if it is not, this will allow you to push the scooter, but will not engage the drive motors. It is usually located on the rear of the vehicle; check your owner's manual.
If this does not work, contact the manufacturer for additional troubleshooting.
Good luck!
