SOURCE: My Pyle PLMRXT33WT marine radio keeps turning itself off.

This could be due to a short in one of the speaker connections or a bad/blown speaker which is shorting out.

The issue is not with the remote as you have stated the vehicle attempts to start. The issue may be with an immobilizer bypass module but, I can't say for sure because you mention the year/make/model of the vehicle. Usually the vehicle will give you visual reason for the failed attempt( the lights will flash a set number of times). But, in any event, the issue is not with the remote and more information is required to assist you.

Active headset

Your headset is operating in VOX mode. This sometimes will happen if the headset is plugged into the radio when the radio is still turned on. Try unplugging the headset, turn on the radio, then talk using the PTT on the radio. Shut the radio back off. Then insert your headset plug, being certain it is seated (click) into place. Then turn the radio back on and see if it works without VOX. If you are still having problems, press the PTT on the radio one more time and see if it shuts it off.

check to see if the radio has a timer in the controls and if so turn the timer off as it is probably turning off the radio for you.

This sounds very much like a power supply issue to me.

Carefully clean, inspect and lubricate (silicone spray works well) the leads to your battery and reconnect.

Chevy Radio Help (DUAL Radio)

You need to connect the red wire to a switched power source. The radio will not work of there is no power going to both the red and yellow wires. Yellow should be going to a constant power source (a source that is still hot when the key is off) as it controls the memory for the clock and preset stations. The red wire should go to a source that turns of when the key is off (accessory or ignition).

Some cars have new system in the computer that lets the radio function for 20 minutes after the key is turned off and no doors have been opened, system should shut down immediately after you open a door

When volume is turned up the radio shuts off

Have you checked all of the connections on the speakers, stereo, etc. Being a marine CD player, the wires and connectors are exposed to more elements than a car CD unit. Check for corrosion and make sure that all the speakers are hooked up to the correct "+" and "-" terminals. Not sure if this will help, but thought I'd try. It does sound like a speaker connection problem.
