How do u connect iTouch air to wifi - Audio Players & Recorders

I finally discovered the problem. I have a Linksys wireless
router, so when I tried to log on with my iTouch, I got the
message "Unable to join network "my network name" when
I typed in my password. One day, after many trys, I tried
typing in the network security key for my router, and Voila,
it worked. For some unknown reason (to me), the iTouch
recognizes the the network security key as the password.

Go to your computer and type in 192.168.1.1 it should take you to your router's main menu. Then search for something like Wireless Conection or Wireless Config, it should then tell you your roouter's name and password.

To clarify the solution from Jesus_Juice: in order to get WiFi at your home, you must have a wireless access point. Normally this is through the Wireless Router that you can install if you have some form of Broadband Internet connection: FIOS or Cable.

So, you must have broadband and a wireless router.

You need any router or wireless access point to conenct your ipod touch to the internet or even your home network.

These days most wired routers will also have the option of wireless. You can check this by entering the routers configuration page. Usually by typing in 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. Or more simply, google you wired router model to check.

Bluetooth is not currently available for connection in the ipod touch or iphone. The iphone supports it, but for bluetooth headsets. Therefore, regardless of the fact that your mac pro (very nice computer by the way) can support it, your ipod touch can't take advantage of other bluetooth devices.

hi

connected to wifi yes, but have a check on the setings part if a DNS server ip or a static ip has to be set

also these things need a lil persuation try connecting to wifi and disconnecting it a couple of times before u give up
