I just installed a 0192773 timer. All the settings work; date, time, sunset, rise, etc. It turns on automatically & it goes on-off, on-off.. rapid fire until I manually turn if off. Any ideas? Thanks

SOURCE: Set up settings won't stick after camera is turned off

yes on the ex-z75 Casio camera there is a internal battery right under the front cover by the speaker wires this battery is a 3.6 volt battery that is soldered on the board. the only what is to make a make shift battery pack and solder it on to the prongs. I do this with out any guarantee that because it is not factory default and they do not sell the battery to any one. most of the time they will tell you the main board has to be replaced. if the main board has to be replaced it is 85.00 plus shipping from my shop but if soldering a 3.6 battery pack works then it would be 40.00 to replace the battery.

Check your heating element. If one coil of the heating element is burnt out the dryer will heat on the remaining coil, but the timer will not advance in automatic dry.

SOURCE: Utilitech self-adjusting wall timer 0192773. I

http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

I have been testing the 0192773, and other timers, for wire and program difficulties.
Good news: your timer is wired correctly. This timer will not operated lights with incorrect wiring.

programming steps are long, but same as other programmable timers.
The 0192773 is a 7-day or sunrise/sunset timer

1) Most programmable timers will not 'work as expected' if there is a conflict in programming.
They suggest you make a schedule of times before programming

2) One of the things this timer offers are individual days -or- groups of days > for example weekend only -or- weekdays only -or- all days of week -plus- individual days. For me, it was a bit confusing keeping that straight while programming

3) Each Program has ON time and OFF time
So Program1 ON has to be set same days as Program1 OFF

4) The other difficulty was how fast the display shifted back to current time when I was programming. If I looked at the instructions for a moment, my display would change before I could catch up. So it's possible that an ON or OFF time could be missed easily.

5) Finally, if you are using the timer as a sunrise/sunset, you need to enter Sunrise or Sunset with program1 ON and program1 OFF

I think the problem is in your programs:
You can use paperclip and hold in reset button for a few seconds and start over
Or
You can press PROG button and and re-check and re-set each program.

By the way, when setting current time, I noticed the timer let you chose a year up to the year 2099. I thought that was an optimistic outlook for both operator and timer.

SOURCE: bread does not rise enough I have carefully

A few tips.
The yeast must be absolutely fresh, use sachets instead of packets.
Keep yeast well away from the fats and liquids.
The fast rise setting will produce less rise than the full program.
You must only use strong bread flour.

I have a utilitech in wall timer model 0192773 which is about 2/12 yrs old. It has power but will not automatically turn on. I called the company and was told that it has a non-replaceable battery which...

The battery is a capacitor back-up charge holder on the circuit board... in case power goes out the memories are held for a period of time.
Just because somebody answers the phone at a company doesn't mean they weren't selling popcorn the week before.

-Buy same-similar timer at Lowes and return defect in new package.
-Buy timer with battery and 5-year warranty.

Unable to Program Utilitec 0192773 Timer

Let's figure it out together. I have one of these timers for testing, and can hook it up if needed. Add a comment as needed.
PLEASE read following material, so we are both saying the same thing.

There are two different options for programming.
7-day programming, and dawn-dusk programming.
You choose one or the other
This might be the point of confusion.

Copy following link for larger print instructions.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

DST is daylight savings time, and you can choose to have automatic DST adjustment twice per calendar year, or choose not to have DST

Be sure to RESET timer before programming. This will clear any programming glitches.
Make sure that each ON time has an OFF time.
So Program 1 ON is set for day(s), hour, minute
The Program 1 OFF is set for same day(s), hour, minute.
Make sure there are no conflicts between day(s).
If selected time is 12:00, then use 11:59 to avoid am-pm conflicts.

Just Larry again. I appreciate the help from Phil, but my Timer still does not function. I went thru the complete programming, to have it turn lights on at sunset, off at sunrise, 7 days a week. And, no...

What timer do you have?
You have a Lowes dawn-dusk timer, probably installed inside a wall box.
My local Lowes does not carry a 3-way timer, so you probably have a single-pole timer: Utilitec 0192773 unless the model numbers have changed.
Copy following links to help identify timer and see wiring for single pole wall timers.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-timers.html

Is the timer white wire connected to white neutral wires, or to the bare ground wire?
Have you checked the light bulb?
Is the timer rated for the type bulb you are controlling? The Lowes timer does not appear to rated for LED, and I cannot tell if it works for CFL.
Click circuit breaker all the way off and then back on.
If the manual override on-off button does not turn lights on-off, then I suspect there is simple electrical problem or timer is defect.

Add a comment with more specific detail which troubleshoot steps you have taken and if you have checked each of the things mentioned above.

The light does not stay on until sunrise. This is just since the clocks went back on the 8th November,.

You posted under ST01C.
It sounds like your timer is not set to automatically adjust for DST.

Open following page to see step by step for setting DST to automatic so timer auto-adjusts for DST:
Steps are shown under 'setting current time'
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html

Utilitec 0192773 also has dawn-to-dusk timer with DST option.

I have a utilitech 0192773 self adjusting timer that will not program. Only works with manual on / off switch. How do you adjust to dusk to dawn

Do not go to Utilitech.com; it's a different company. It's actually at place called TheNCC and is in tiny, tiny print at the bottom of the instructions.

Instead, go to:
http://thencc.com/ncc/support_results.asp?criteria=192773&Submit=Go&SearchRun=RunGo

You should find a PDF for the product and then zoom in to be able to read the instructions. I was not able to read instructions that came in packaging.
