Let's start with the 107 wire expansion fault your getting. Yes that is the wired expansion/zone expander wired to the data bus which is the same four wires that the keypads use. Their should be a schematic on the door of your panel but they should be on terminals 4,5,6,7 on your main alarm panel. Aux power positive, Aux power negative, Data A/IN, Data B/OUT. That message on the keypad is telling you that that expander is not communicating. Take a multimeter and check for 12 volts DC on the bus connections at the expander. They should be the red and black wires. Be sure to check the labeling on the circuit board though. Start there and let me know. I'm available for direct call/video chat at the link below.

SOURCE: garage door opener key pad not working
so i spent the better part of this morning trying to figure this same thing out... here's what I found.
You need to identify the serial number, which is found on the unit hanging from the ceiling... it will be like a 13953970. I found mine behind the lamp light protector thing. NOT the back with the stickers. 41A5021 is actually not the number that is important.
then go to www.managemyhome.com its a website ran by sears. you have to register, for free. then go look for manuals, in one of the tabs running across the top of the site is a choice for manuals. then search by Craftsman then enter the serial number.
then pull up the owners manual and check out the instructions.
** i found out that the old house i bought did not actually have the same keypad opener as came with the craftsman. so i had to closely inspect all sides of the internal keypad opener (not the one outside) and find another serial number. then i went and got the manual from www.managemyhome.com and realized i needed to add a new 9-V battery before I could proceed. So now i'm heading out to walmart to get that.
after a frusterating morning of service number and internet searches I hope after I get this damned battery the clouds will part and god will shine some luck on me.
goodluck to yourself!

The problem is that the 2 units are "not speaking to each other". this could be caused by low batteries or a loss in signal caused by a powercut or an objection in the way of the 2 units.
first you need to turn the power off to the r666od (or otherwise known as the HC60NG) for 10 secs, then turn back on. then hold the grey button in for 15 secs. release then hold in for a further 5 secs.
go to the honeywell cm61 press the off button. hold temp up. temp down and prog 1 in for 3 secs until the dipslay goes to INST. at this point release all 3 buttons then press the i button until a beacon starts flashing.
this is now the end to your problem.
N.B the reason the green light was on is because the man override button will have been pressed.
hope this helps
