SOURCE: westinghouse LTV30w2 has blank screen and audio

What you have is a darfon V144 board (junk). it's a simple fix if you know how to use some basic tools and a soldering iron. Get an led (i used digikey's PN: L10041-ND) and solder it from pin 10 to pin 16 on the OZ960 chip on the inverter board. If you need the chip layout type "OZ960 pdf" in google. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 32" flat screen Westinghouse TV

Hello, it sounds like you need to replace the inverter board on this unit. I would recommend opening the unit from the back cover, get the part # for the inverter board (long green board normally running accross the edge of the TV) and go to www.shopjimmy.com, they should have it in stock and if not you can try www.invertercentral.com, they should also have it.

You may have problem with the T-C0N board, worst case will be the main logic board, try cooling the T-CON board with electronics freeze spray to see if the problem will go away, you can get it from Radio Shack.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:

Westinghouse WD55UW4620 no picture

Before you replace the power board, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your Westinghouse WD55UW4620 TV:
  1. Adjust the picture settings: It's possible that the picture settings on your TV have been accidentally adjusted, resulting in a dark picture. Try going into the TV's menu and adjusting the brightness, contrast, and other picture settings to see if that helps.
  2. Check the backlight: The backlight is responsible for illuminating the pixels on your TV screen, and if it's not working properly, it can result in a dark or dim picture. You can check the backlight by shining a flashlight on the screen and seeing if you can make out any images. If you can see images, then the backlight is likely the issue.
  3. Check the cables: Make sure that all the cables connecting your TV to external devices are securely plugged in and not damaged.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, then it's possible that the power board is the issue. In that case, replacing the power board may fix the problem.

Our roku TV's screen picture abruptly cut out, just a black tv screen. Checked the cable connections, unplugged and re-plugged, restarted the tv with the factory reset button, tried using restart sequences...

It's possible that there could be an issue with the HDMI port affecting the display picture.

Try connecting you Roku device to a different HDMI port on the TV, and then playing content again.

Try using a different/new HDMI cable to connect your device to your TV.

What voltages and at what points should I be testing to narrow down the problem, or what other problem-solving technique should I be testing?

First question, what do you mean by replaced the LCD's...LCD's would be the panel itself and I know you didn't replace that as you can't get one for under several hundred dollars, more than the cost of the set new in most cases. In your 1st sentence you said I have a LG 50 LCD TV Model: 50LN5700-UH...your tv is a LED set.

The Audio and Video are two separate components and operate independently of each other. Therefore: The Video portion requires technical repair by a technician with the proper test equipment.

I have a Westinghouse tv I have power with no sound and the screen is black. I did the flashlight test and I can see the menu. Any suggestions?

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

Remote RMT 10 - How do I get a picture while I have sound.

It's probably your TV and not your control. If you can turn the TV on and off with the remote, turn on the TV and press the setup or menu button on the remote. If your TV is capable of displaying a picture, you should be able to see the menu items. If no menu items are visible, it is highly likely that the TV is toast. If you can see the menu, then there is a setting on the menu that is disabling your video. It may be that you have selected an alternate input, or possibly dimmed the brightness to the point that the screen is black. Work with the settings - you have nothing to loose, it isn't working anyway. If you can find a master reset, select it and it will reset all settings to the factory configuration.
