If your Knightforce helicopter is not turning on after charging, it is possible that the battery is not properly connected. Make sure that the battery is securely connected to the helicopter and that the power switch is in the "on" position. check the small fan at the back of the helicopter and its motor. This controls the tilt of the helicopter it it does not work the helicopter won't tilt down in the front and won't move forwards or backwards

Likely defective unit and needs a warrantee replacement.

I have a Hercules "unbreakable" helicopter that shows that"shut down" sympton when the battery is low. I assume it does that to prevent the battery completely dying while in flight.

The instructions say the helicopter is ready to fly when the led shows red. I found some info online that says to charge the helo for 35 minutes. I've been letting it go 45 mnutes, and have been getting abou6 6 minute flight times. Unfortunately, my helo will no longer fly forward or backward. Does anyone know how to adjust the control for the tail rotor?

Its is probably a faulty potentiometer in the transmitter's throttle channel. Take it back to the store if possible otherwise see if you can get another transmitter and bind it to your helicopter. The binding process will be in your instruction book.
