ERROR CODE F2 64 ON SHARP 5618 - Sharp Office Equipment & Supplies

This can be due to an empty toner , try a new one and reboot the machine.
If you have put a new one in check at the rear of the toner container that a seal is not still on the toner.
reboot the machine.
if this still fails you will need to get some black developer and then ask for details on putting this in, which I can help with.

SOURCE: My Sharp Copier AR 5618 is showing error F2 -64, i have bought a new toner cartridge and installed it yet its still showing F2 -64, please a need a code to clear this problem.

If you don't have a user manual, you can download one in PDF form for your copier at the Sharp website. That may have a legend to explain what the error code means, and how to fix it.

Polygon motor lock detection

The Polygon Motor spins the mirror which writes the laser signal to the drum.

If switching the machine off/on doesn't cure the error code the only other thing you can do iw just check that all the connectors are plugged in correctly. Polygon Motors do fail and when they do all you can do is replace them. Quite often they will screech or rattle in the run up to failure.

How do i clear error f2 70 on sharp ar 5618

Service Manual SHARP AR 5618 5620 5623 SME honestly I did not see this code in the owners manual but it should have a number you can call to ask how to clear it. I've noticed a few people have asked this question for this specific product but haven't gotten any answers. If you do find the solution please post it for people with the problem in the future :)
