How do I test the flame sensor flame sensor by or part of ignitor clean or replace also check burner tubes for blockage
When the t'stat starts the furnace, 1st the draft inducer motor runs for a few seconds, then the igniter glows and the gas valve opens.
The burner then lights, the igniter shuts off. If the burner shuts off when the igniter shuts off, then it's the flame sensor. 1st disconnect the power, remove the flame sensor and clean it with some 000 steel wool or scotch brite and reinstall it. 95% of the time that will fix it, otherwise you will need to replace the flame sensor.

sounds like the regulator. there isn't much of anything left to go wrong! the gas comes out of a very small orifice in the burner tube and mixes with atmospheric air before being burned at the jet.

flame sensor, just take some fine sand and lightly sand,it will be where the flame hits one of the burners, should look like a probe,if this helps please give me a fix ya
SOURCE: laars lite 2 pool heater burner not lite
ive got the same problem and am fitting a new thermal generator i will let you know if it works
SOURCE: Pool Heater Light main burner then goes out
take millivolt reads while main burner is on.i suspect you will see a drop in voltage until you get to point where it will no longer operate burner(around 200mv).if this is the case you probably have poor pilot characteristics due to dirty pilot, pilot out of adjustment ,obstruction or insufficient gas pressure
SOURCE: pilot stays lite but the burner wont ignite propane unit
the gas is not coming out of the burner, probably due to rust clogging the holes.
