Hello,
GW KIM WHAT DOES BUILD MEAN/? (INSTALLING OS

endless reloading THE NEW OS?

NO PC stated, at all, just GW,

NO os STATED, IF XP SURE ITS INFECTED AND WILL BE FOR EVER, RUN W7 OR 10 ONLY, OK?

THEY ARE SUPPORTED ONLY. UNLESS RUNNING LINUX, can't be stopped is Never true. ever. .
so I guess you are asking how to fresh load windows, clean and so that windows itself is not preloaded with virues, as seen on TORRENT Pirate WINDOWS INSTALLER disks. (THE ENDLESS STORY THAT)

so first and USING REAL WINDOWS MEDIA KITS THE ISO FOR WINDOWS IS AT .MICROSOFT.COM" .

if asking why , clean windows work, perfect , then later clients keep getting it infected, that is from reading spam, and clicking attachments and email links or worse going to phorn sites.

if PC is old run w7-32bit load MSE, MS antivirus is free, an educate your clients.

do not run XP,
nobody does now but the last guys sitting in a BAR at 4 AM... die hard's like him,GI joe! HE is wise. WHY ,READ!
http://www.pcdied.com/XP-sux-sg.html

cant be stopped.? the bull snorts, AND SAYS:

1: run top AV (AntiVirus SW)

2: set mail up for no attachments and text only no HTML

bingo mail safe. ok? it's not hard at all ask, (just do it)

3; setup your PC for safe browsing, with full phorn, blocking.

4: run Firefix v60+ it has built in protections. for many known dangerous web sites.

5: keep the windows firewall 100% up (w10 best)

6: keep the router firewill ports ALL OFF and dead 65k ports incoming OFF.

7: educate users. on how not to DL software with out first running Virustotal.com

8: get software from only the official makers sites, do not use (joes nasty software download dot com)

NO PC stated at all just GW, so answers WILL COME HARD (for us)
CAN'T MEANS you can't but all others can.
    for sure.(skilled)

    total infected HDD.
1: erase it with kill disk.(erase)http://www.pcdied.com/w10/HDD%20erase/er...
(hint for sure all infections are gone. now)

    2: buy new windows 7 and microsoft.com
best is ISO version from them and burn a
DVD or burn a USB memory stick 16GB or larger

3: boot the install media now. run the installer,
    4: done.

    now keeping that clean? ask
a long topic how not to get infected, ASK?

  • Anonymous Feb 08, 2019

    run windows 10
run a firewall on 10 and in the router you have at home.
    educate users, first.
    do no allows email attachments
do not click links in email
do not load programs for wrong sources.
run firefox v60+ for better protection
do not use IE11, (or for sure older)

SOURCE: set up did not find any hard disk drivers installed on computer

Your notebook has SATA hdd. Got into the bios (keep pressing F2 key on startup) then in the bios screen find HDD and press enter. Select IDE mode. Press f10 to save changes and exit. When this is done install XP.
Alternatively connect external usb floppy drive and unzip sata drivers into that. When booting from xp cd press f6 to load drivers.Follow onscreen instructions to load drivers and continue xp installation.
Please let me know if issue not solved for futher ts steps.

SOURCE: Duel Hard drive trouble

Your Os should have the main automatically, keep the other drives as slave unless they are usb then they should auto pick up when you start up your pc for sata drives you got to buy sata connectors and make sure your motherboard has more then just 1 sata connection. After you find out how many you have on your motherboard from bottom to top is 123 so if u have 3 then if you want like if you have a music hard drive and you want it to be first then put it at the bottom 2 and so on.. don't forget to set them as slaves

I am having a problem with my gateway sx2801-07e desktop. It always freezes up and I usually have to hold down the power button to turn it off. My hard drive light stays on and only blinks a few times...

There's nothing to say the hard drive is holding it up; check your system logs for warnings (they're conveniently timestamped,) and use anti-malware software to find and knock down programs that are producing the freezes. You could also run system performance profilers etc. to see whether your DDR2 is good, make sure fans are spinning as necessary, airflow's adequate, the videocard is seated well, heatsinks are firmly in place, etc.

My hard disk (C drive) is showing as "not installed" in my BIOS menu on my Dell Dimension 3000. My data is backed up and I just want to wipe the hard drive.

Open your computer and de-assemble the hard disk, clean data buses and ports and reassemble the hard disk, it will work.

I bought this model, and a year and a week later the drive crashed. After arguing, Gateway replaced the HD. One year later, it crashed again. I was getting BlueScreen Of Death dumps each turnoff. ...

Try reinstalling vista again first to avoid another drive. Could be just a conflicting driver issue or deleted dll or something altered by a program or malware/virus and even virus protectors do their job too well and remove certain files that maybe a virus was attached to.

Ok my issue is that I had a Dell Optiplex given to

Check your hard drive usage and capacity in the system properties before investing in a new hard drive -- sometimes malware can trick you into deleting programs and files. If you are running Windows XP or Vista, open the Start menu and click on My Computer (Computer, if you're running Vista). Right click on the C: drive and select Properties. It will show you how much space your hard drive has, and how much is being used.

If you really do have very little space, try to move large files like movies and music to external storage such as DVDs. You can also run the Disk Cleanup utility to delete temporary files and empty caches.

How do I get the hard drive out of this machine. I have removed the side took out the three screws that I saw around the hard drive enclosure removed the power and ide cable from the drive but it will not...

Have you removed the other side cover and removed the screws from that side? I have always hated how OEM computers do that, such a hassle when only one side needs screws.

Gateway 830GM power

Could be power supply, unplug every thing from the board, remove all drives, cards everything but the mem. turn it on, if you get some beeps, add your Hard drive. The power supply may not have the guts it take to run all the peripherals it used to, this test will tell you if its the board or power supply.

Erase a hard drive

IF you have the XP installation CD you can easily do that, Just set your BIOS to boot from the CDrom then put the XP CD on your CD drive then restart the computer , so your computer will automatically boot from the XP installation CD then on that process you will have an option to format the entire hard drive that you have using the XP CD installation, then just let the installation finish...

Restore hard drive and wipe out everything on it

Dell always send with a new computer one cd to restore the OS of the computer.

If you have this CD put it into the CD drive and boot the computer, follow the instructions on the screen.

Or put an windows CD into drive and boot the computer. If you use this second option you will have to download the device drivers from dell support page.
