I have a proscan combi tv when I turn it on it won let me get into the menu how do I reset it

The PS50700 uses the 195 series chassis. The most common cause of the set not starting up is a shorted flyback (high voltage) transformer. Sometimes a shorted flyback will also cause the horizontal output transistor to short too. These parts need to be tested and/or replaced by a tech familiar with the RCA 195 chassis.

Try to go to menu and look for setup if you are trying to program channels there will be a setting like auto program for that--reset usually just sets all color,brightness etc back to factory preset and will not affect channels.
