SOURCE: No power from Whirlpool.

The problem was a defective switch. There are 3 switches on mine. 1 on the top door latch, and 2 on the bottom. one of the switches on the bottom connected the power and neutral together, unless it was activated at the same time as the other 2, causing the breaker to trip or the internal fuse to blow. When unhooking the wire going from this switch to the other switch, everything works great now. Though I still need to replace the switch.

And for Basic 1. Yes my microwave did have a fuse in it it's ceramic, I got a pack of them at Radio Shack 4 for 3$ 250V 20 Amp. There should be a wiring diagram inside the microwave, mine was inside a black bag, so it may be hard to see.

Mine was up top next to the fuse behind the Plastic Grill and then a small metal grill. Some are behind the control panel, to fix this remove the screw at the top and then slide the control panel up and it should unhinge.

SOURCE: totally dead. Vizio GV42L

If the circuit breaker was tripped, more likely the fuse inside the TV power supply might also be blown. If that is the case there might be a short circuit in the power supply components, more likely on a diode or transistor/mosfet.
Contact these website to see if they have the parts for your plasma.
Good Luck.

Compool LX3800 isn't starting pool filter, booster pump, or spa bubbles after power outage

If you are unable to get the booster pump, filter pump, or spa bubbles to turn on, even though everything seems to be fine and you are getting 120V at each item, it could be due to a number of issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the circuit breaker: Make sure that the circuit breaker for the equipment is not tripped or turned off. Reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
  2. Check the power source: Verify that the power source is functioning properly by using a voltmeter to check the voltage at the outlet.
  3. Check the relays: If you hear the click of the relay, it could be a sign that the relay is working but not properly connected. Check the wiring and make sure that the relay is properly connected.
  4. Check the pump and motor: If the pump and motor are not working, it could be due to a problem with the motor, impeller, or other parts. Check for signs of damage, wear, or obstruction.
  5. Check the pressure switch: If the pressure switch is not working, it could prevent the booster pump from turning on. Test the pressure switch with a multimeter and replace it if necessary.
  6. Check the timer: If you have a timer, check that it is set properly and not malfunctioning.
  7. Check the control panel: If you have a control panel, check that it is working properly and not malfunctioning.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and still cannot get the equipment to turn on, it may be time to call a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Jenn Air dishwasher JDB 8700AWP3 stopped working.

If there is no power to the control board on your Jenn Air dishwasher JDB8700AWP3 after resetting the breaker, it could be due to a few different issues. Here are some steps you can try:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure the dishwasher is properly connected to a working power source. Check the power cord for any damage or frayed wires.
  2. Check the door switch: The door switch prevents the dishwasher from operating when the door is open. Make sure the door is properly closed and the door switch is working correctly.
  3. Check the thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that shuts off power to the dishwasher if it overheats. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced.
  4. Check the control board: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that the control board itself is faulty and needs to be replaced. You can try resetting the control board by unplugging the dishwasher for several minutes and then plugging it back in, but if that doesn't work, you may need to contact a professional for repairs.
If you're not comfortable working with electrical components, it's best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Have a Whirlpool JES9750CAB00 30" Slide in Oven and have no power after drip pan was in backwards, and someone slid the glass cooktop in and crossed up contacts. There is no power to anything.

Nothing Works, or the Oven / Range / Stovetop Works Only At Certain Times:
1.Home breaker flipped or the fuse blown?Possibly an electrical surge has flipped the breaker. Check your breaker or fuse box and replace or reset as necessary.
2.Power cord plugged in?Grab the plug and wiggle to determine a good connection.
3.Power cord damage?Damaged rubber with wires showing through or the wire is being pinched can cause issues. Electrical tape is acceptable for covering damaged wires.
4.Aclicking sound could be something wrong with a relay. Check for any loose connections around the main control board on your oven. The click you hear is a relay losing power and switching back on. If the clock resets then something is causing power interruptions to the board.
5.
6.Even a bad relay door switch will hinder your oven from operating.
If your oven has internal fuses, a wiring or component problem could have caused a fuse to blow. A blown fuse is an indication that a component has shorted or failed, and the problem will need to be corrected. Most ovens that use fuses will have an indication of the circuits that are affected by a particular fuse. If an oven fuse has blown, then you should inspect the oven element and the associated wiring to determine the cause before replacing the fuse.

THINGS TO CHECK:

Most modern ovens use an electronic control board
to control the oven functions. These models will use the control board to operate the oven safety valve on a gas range or oven, and the bake and broil elements on an electric range or oven. If there is no power to the igniter circuit, or the element circuits, then you should check the control board to verify that there is power at the appropriate output relay. These are live voltage checks and should be performed by qualified persons only. If there is no output voltage then the control should be replaced.

Oven Control Board
The oven control board has a set of relays that turn on and off power to the bake and broil circuits according to the customer settings and sensor input. If the oven won't turn off it could be that one of the relays on the oven control board is shorted closed, providing voltage to the heating circuit. It can be dangerous if the oven won't turn off. Don't leave the oven unattended without turning off power to the oven.
Relay board:
Some ovens are equipped with a relay board. This circuit board has several relays which control the switching of electrical current to the oven heat source. If the oven won't turn off it may be that one or more of the relays on the relay board have failed. If this happens replace the relay board. The relays on the board are not sold separately. ALSO CHECK THE BAKE AND BROIL ELEMENT.
