Got new batteries for life fitness cycle but the console will not work

I am guessing that the battery needs to be replaced in your gameboy advance SP and after 500 charges the battery will only be 70% working and temperature can also effect the battery too. If the light is flickering green and red at the same time that is also an indicator that the battery is going bad and has to be replaced.DkOldies and Lukie Games and East Starland games sell replacement batteries for gameboy advance SP's.

What I'm finding in the way of manuals isn't more specific than that the system uses 2 'D' size batteries, which should last about 800 hours. A review here
Lifecycle GX Review Spin Bike Reviews Indoors Fitness (about 2/3 way down the page) mentions that the batteries are in the console and easy to replace. I'd look for a battery door, likely secured with a small phillips head screw, and large enough to accommodate D Cells. It also mentions that there is a low-battery warning at the top of the console.

Most likely a dead battery,you could also check and make sure that that the sensor for the flywheel is in tact

You'll have to open up the battery assembly compartment on the user lower left side and replace your old batteries.

The LifeCycle GX power requirements are

• Battery: 2 D-Cell batteries
• Approximate Battery life: 800hrs

Replacement Parts for Fitness Exercise Equipment at SPORTSMITH

Some of these units have 9 volt battery found in the back of the console. Also some of these units that do not have the 9 volt battery, still used the same console shell. If you have an empty spot with no wiring in it, then you are fully relying on your external power supply. I am attaching a link to the picture of the back of the console I am referencing. Check the 6v battery. If you're getting 6v or more, you have a faulty console. Not sure if you want to fix as the console is pretty expensive unless you can get a used one. Try Usedtreadmillrepairparts.com. They sell used parts.

You should check your battery-it must be putting out at least 6 volts to get the computer started up-depending on the era there will be a battery near the bottom frame-you will need to remove on of the side covers to reach it-
