I got this amplifier and I see on the main circuit that somebody removed some components and the amplifier turns on weirdly, gives strange sounds from the speakers when it turns on. I would like to reinstall the original components and wiring but I don't have the wiring diagram. Please share with me that wiring diagram if somebody has it. Thank you! Best Regards, Dave

These amplifiers are universal. You have the speaker positive negatives, power "Red", Ground "black", and remote off/on "blue". Thanks

SOURCE: hi, just trying to wire up my pioneer gm-620 car
i need to know is the blue wire comming from the amplfier or comming from the radio?
if its comming from the amplfier then
you need to connect this to the igintion wire (yellow) or if the radio has it connect it to the radio (it shoudl become 12V when radio turns on)
if its comming from the radio then
you need to connect it to the remote jack in the amplfier
the wire become 12V when the radio turns on
and the amplfier only turn on when the remote connection on the amplifier becomes 12V
SOURCE: Hello, I have a question. My Sony
If your HA 1457 Is really for the phono input ( R1AA equalization )
then check your preamp supply , it should have a minimum of + 9V
and -9V to work.
Trace from the low power supply also.
here is a sample ( not necessarily like yours )
Split Supply :
Pin 8 B+
Pin 4 B -
secondly check for possible open feedback resistors and possible bad small
capacitors on the preamp circuits.
A way to test if your preamp is working is putting your finger ( touching the input )
just make it sure your master volume is in a low level.
