My Smart Gear weather station stopped reading the outside temperature even after I changed the batteries in the outside sensor. Can I buy a new outside sensor to replace mine ?

After inserting the batteries, DO NOT set the time until the OUTSIDE temperature registers. That's the trick.

had the same problem, it needs time to calibrate, you have to drive it over 19 miles per hour for at least 10 minutes or so and it should reset itself. I would just take it on a drive if you haven't done so yet.

In some of these weather stations, you have to install the batteries in the transmitter first and then the weather station within a certain time limit. Also, the weather station must be within a specified distance from the transmitter when replacing the batteries.

If you look on the weather station, there should be a make and model number. If you have that, you can visit the website (if there is one) and download an instruction booklet for your model.
