Sure you can , you can and wifi to any PC so long as not running XP or VISTA. new wifi card do not support XP. this is a relic PC, from long ago. posting and not telling the helper what OS you run is just a waste of time or worse we must answer for 5 different OS more more. old old has no express slots. 15 years old today HP Pavilion a400n XP loaded , relic. if still XP where would you get a wifi PCI non express card in year 2019, IDK, good luck there, but you can in fact add a USB wifi dongle. but would have to be very old say 2004 to 2010 made or will not support XP new USB dongles for WIFI do not support XP, Okay? posting with no OS stated, is just a ****** waste of time. and is a endless problem here., this PC is end of life trash it and get a PC 2010 or newer. and win. with w7 or newer on it. (coa sticker on case is the clue) spend $40 go whole hog. nice how lifehacker seems to not know what XP is.,? nor what PCI over PCI-express is. sad. no?

You have to check if your motherboard has a pci express or agp card slot. only then you could add a graphic card!

Wifi card for HP Pavillion a400n. It does not have wifi now.

2004 , made, 15 years old PC, a BLAST fromt the PAST!
now"? so , yesterday you had wifi and today not?
are you at home or in a Cafe' or airport, where are you.
first is does your location have wifi.... (and distance to the AP)
AP is your local Access Point (at home a router with wifi)
also as important is the A400 is a very old desktop Tower.
and as such most had no wifi ,unless you added it.
on the rear is wifi card (PCI) with an antenna, if said antenna or car is missing then bingo no wifi.. see here ,? no wifi, just a silly old dial up modem there.
proof:

on this PC you have 2 choices.
buy the pci card wifi plug it in
or buy USB wifi dongle.

you posted with NO OS,
is it windows?
if yes, what version
it came with windows XP is this the last XP running on earth?
XP is and its very bad IE6 is now banned on the internet.

Is hp pavillion 533c wifi ready

Nope. Most desktops are not equipped with wifi adapter. If you do not have a plan to buy a newer computer, you have to think about investing a few thing. If my calculations are right could cost you round 30$ to 40$.
1. USB wifi adapter 15$25199670-hteicwtviizs0mofaamifrgr-5-0.png
2. USB extension cord (3 meters to 7 meters). This you will need to find good signal. 5$ to 10$25199670-hteicwtviizs0mofaamifrgr-5-1.jpg

3. If you don't have a USB port (which I don't see in the specs.), you need to buy pci USB card.

Caution to ask for "PCI USB expansion card".
Good luck, hope this helps.

Hp pavillion dv8 wifi control problem

do you mean it disconnects or it actually turns off. if it turns off, it's probably a problem with the card. if it disconnects it may be an issue with the access point.

Microphone for HP Pavilion a400n (skype)

You need either a dynamic microphone (low impedance) or you could go with one of the USB types... but check operating system compatibility for the USB ones.

How do I set-up my WLAN card to my HP iPAQ Hw6515

The HP IPAQ 6515 will support WLAN access via a SDIO WIFI card (which looks like a 'long' standard SD card): it is just a bit tricky to get this add-onl SDIO WIFI card to work properly!

HP a400n monitors

Sure but you shouldn't need to tell the computer what type of monitor it is, windows should simply send the signal to the monitor and poof up comes your display, more advanced versions may auto-detect or youc an select it in the control panel under display. Try craigslist to pick up a cheap monitor in your area. I got a 15'' flat for 20 bucks.

Flashing Green Light on mx705 monitor

If the HP has onboard video but you have an add-on video card, remove the add-on and connect the monitor to the onboard vid. If it works you have a bad add-on video card. If it doesn't or you are already running on on-board video hook the mx705 up to a compatible HP. The older PB may be TOO old to handle it or not hve the correct drivers.
