SOURCE: A/C unit continously running even though turned

Check your wiring behind the thermostat. If you have two wires touching, it will cause this. If everything is ok. Check inside blower compartment for the low voltage wiring. This is your wiring from your thermostat. Make sure none are touching. This would typically be your yellow wire that controls outside compressor. If not any of this you need a new stat.

SOURCE: my fan continues to run even though the heating

Check the fan relay and make sure it is working properly. It might be stuck, which is the most likely problem

Testimonial: "Although I have not had the fan relay checked, it is something I can suggest when I call the repair person. Thanks"

Why does my South Seas spa always has the jet1 light on with continuous filtering even though I have my filtering is set to 2 hours and my water temp is 90 degrees F.

According to the South Seas Spas Owner's Manual, the filter cycle begins 6 minutes after the spa is energized and the second filter cycle begins 12 hours later. The filter duration is programmable and can be set to 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours for continuous filtration (indicated by "FC"). The default filter time is 2 hours.

It's possible that your filter cycle duration is set to continuous filtration mode. To change the mode, press the "Warm" or "Cool" button and select a duration of 2 hours.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact a professional technician for further assistance.

How do you set the time? I figured out the alarm clock but can't find a way to set up the time.

Setting the Clock
1. Press and hold the HOUR button for 5 seconds (Fig. 5). The time will begin to flash
2. While the time is flashing, press the HOUR button until you reach the correct hour. Then press the
MINUTE button (Fig. 5) until you reach the correct minute.
NOTE: PM indicator will appear on the left side of the clock face for evening hours (Fig. 5). If the
PM indicator is not illuminated, the hour is set to AM. Be sure to set the time for the correct
12-hour period - AM (morning) or PM (evening).
NOTE: After 5 seconds, the time will stop flashing and it will be set.

How do I program a Micronta programmable timer--I set the time to have it go on, but how do I set it to go off?

LCD Programmable Timer (630-0892) Operation Faxback Doc. # 17153 Setting The Time and Day Follow these steps to set the current time and day. 1. Slide RUN/PROG/TIME SET to TIME SET. 2. Press HOUR to set the hour digits. Pressing and holding down HOUR rapid- ly advances the hour digits. NOTE: P appears to the left of the hour digits to indicate P.M. hours. 3. Press MIN (minute) to set the minutes digits. Pressing and holding down MIN rapidly advances the minute digits. 4. Press DAY until the correct day abbreviation appears. 5. Slide the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to RUN. The colon flashes to show the clock is running. NOTE: Keep this switch set to RUN to prevent accidentally changing the time. Setting The Timer The timer has 14 settings (1-14). Odd numbered settings specify a time to turn on the appliance and even numbered settings specify a time to turn off the appliance. Follow these steps to set your timer. 1. Slide the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to PROG. The display shows the first setting. If you have not entered any setting, the display appears as shown in the illustration. 2. Press Event to select a setting to enter or change. 3. Press Hour to set the HOUR digits and press MIN to set minute digits to the correct time. NOTE: Be sure P appears to the left of the hour digits when you want to set a P.M. hour. 4. Press Day to select the day of the week for this setting. If you want the setting to apply to every day of the week, repeatedly press DAY until all day indicators appear on the display. 5. When you finish entering the setting, press EVENT. The timer advances to the next setting. 6. Repeat Steps 3 through 5 to enter additional settings. NOTES: Be sure to set the timer to turn off the appliance. The appli- ance remains on as long as there is power if you do not set a time for the appliance to turn off. To replace an existing event, select its setting number and set the new event time. To clear an event, select its setting number and press CLEAR twice. Be sure to clear both the on time and the off time for an event. If you set the timer to turn on the appliance every day, be sure to also set the timer to turn off the appliance every day. 7. Set the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to RUN. NOTE: You must set this switch to RUN to turn on or off the appliance either automatically or manually. When the timer automatically turns on the appliance, ON appears on the display and the indicator lights red. When the appliance turns off, the indicator turns off. Reviewing The Settings To review the settings in your timer, set RUN/PROG/TIME SET to PROG. Setting 1 appears on the display. Repeatedly press EVENT to view the other settings. NOTE: To determine event being programmed, pull the power for a period of 5 minutes. Then re-power the unit. The first event will be "ON" and the next will be "OFF", etc. There will be a number to the side of the display that tells you which event you are programming, The even numbers are "OFF" and the odd numbers are "ON" events. Jacuzzi Laser II: Problem with the Heater/filter setting. The jets come on when it's on this setting. When I turn it to Filter setting it's fine..when I turn it off the jets come back on What gives?

The jets will run while in the filtration / heating mode. If the spa is in the middle of the filtration cycle, the jets will stay on until the cycle time runs out. So, if the spa jets are on during this time, they are on for the full duration, 2-6 hours every 12. You can cycle the jet button to high, but when you try to turn them off, they will just go back on low.

Salty taste, high ph levels, algea and have shocked pool twice

I'm just now setting up my Saltwater generator...so don't have your problem - yet! Local pool guy tho said with the saltwater systems you need to add dry acid to the pool almost weekly to keep the ph down. Sounds like what you're experiencing. The dry acid was cheap and came in small-ish containers, should last long time.
