We recently purchased a house that has an Aker jacuzzi tub in the master bath which was working fine as we used it once or twice a month. As of tonight it doesnt turn in at all, has the soft oval on/off button. The night before I turned off and then on again (being curious) as to what I believe is the switch that supplies power to the tub on the wall by our mirror just a simple single pole switch. Only reason I think this is because it's by itself away from the light switches. My multimeter is at the shop or else I'd check for power with breaker on/off. So would turning the power switch on and off cause anything to reset on the tub anywhere. Or should I start checking for an air switch issue?

These switches that are mounted to the tub itself are usually air switches when you push the soft button it puffs air into a solenoid somewhere near the motor causing it to activate the pump, and there is a possibility that the pump motor has a reset button on the end of it to kick it off if something would cause the pump to jamb, hair, toy, jewelry or whatever that somehow got sucked into the intake

SOURCE: the water jet pump wont turn off or sometimes turns on by itself

go online to kohler and they will send you out a new switch,, it isn't that hard to install, this will solve your problem and I think if you tell them it was put in not to long ago they will send it for free

SOURCE: i have a regular size bath tub with a jacuzzi with

First of all make sure you have the tub filled with water to a level above the jet inlets. They normally have a sensor to prevent the tub from starting dry.

Next, check and reset any GFCI electrical receptacles that might be on the same circuit as the tub. They are the wall receptacles that have the 2 little buttons in the middle. Look in the bathroon, adjacent bedroom, closets etc.

The only other thing you can really check on your own is the air tube leading to that metal switch on your tub. The switch is not electrical for safety, it is a little air pumper with a plastic hose attached to it leading to an air powered actuator on the pump. Sometimes the hose dries up / comes loose / falls off. Check if there is an access panel on the tub where you can look inside and see if the plastic hose is still attached at both ends. You might even be able to unscrew the metal switch cover and lift it up and see from there. Otherwise try fpumping the metal switch (firm repeated pushing) to see if that will activate the pump. If that does the trick then it is probably just a loose connection / leak on the air hose such that it is not quite airtight.

Good luck and please comment back if this was at all helpful or if you need further assistance.
Thanks.
Joe.

SOURCE: Our jacuzzi is almost regular

The metal button on the top of the tub is used to turn the tub on/off. the metal button you see in the middle of the tub above one of the jets is the low water sensor.
the water has to be above that metal tab, you have to be in the tub and then touch the metal button on the top of the tub to turn it on.
this system uses the electrical current from our bodies to complete the circuitry and turn it all on and off.

SOURCE: My Gateway 840GM turns on fine but maybe 5mins into working it restarts itself. The power supply works fine and I have added 4gb of memory. Once windows start and you start working on anything it dies

If the PSU power supply units fan is not working the PSU is faulty
Test all power and data leads that attach to your hard drive IDE,SATA
the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd floppy have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs

power and data to travel through every working device and to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

even something as small as a faulty power lead or fan lead can cause you problems

computers need all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

make sure ram modules and cmos batteries have dust free secure seatings and cmos battery has charge some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

you might not have enough computer ram

not having enough computer ram will run your computer over its limits putting to much strain on the CPU central processing unit and can cause memory dumps

you might have to many programs trying to or accessing the internet at the same time
scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager

applications you will see whats running
if you see anything you dont need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific

program if you or computer does not require it to run and
some unnecessary programs that could be jamming up your computer

also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you
dont need to be and users you will see who is using your computer

you might need to add more computer ram
if you're not sure if a module is right for your system use the

Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. first you will need to select the manufacturer from a drop down list then select your product line

from a drop down list then select the model then click find it will take you directly to compatible ram also you will have an option to scan your system
you should always ask for a guarantee on the compatibility of the ram before making any purchase

might be getting hot

check you CPU make sure its securely seated and has thermal grease

Is it possible to buy somewhere the Optional "U-Frame Skirt" for a "Jacuzzi CIVA Whirlpool" bath tub? Anyone know where or other suggestions on covering the front?

Home Deport and Lowes each used to carry a generic front skirt for "jacuzzi" type tubs. You may find something at one of their stores that will work.
The other solution would be to contact a Jacuzzi Showroom for authorized replacement parts.

Model identification

While the brand of the tub may be of importance to you it may not be important when finding parts for it.
Bath tub manufacturers do not make anything that goes into their tubs i,e. the jets, pumps and controls are all purchased from various Mfg.
Are you have any particular problems with either unit that would make you need the brand of either?

Need to purchase 2 front panels [white] for Luxura 530 jacuzzi whirlpool bath model N795 also, called skirts

Bath Panels can be very difficult to locate. I would check with your local Jacuzzi Showroom first.
If they are unable to locate the panels you need or they are no longer made then you should head over to Lowes or Home Depot to get a generic panel from one of them and you may need both panels replaced so they match.
