Hello, Marsha - What is the make and model of your car or truck? Plus, what part in the car or truck are you trying to remove? I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

Harbor Freight sells a security screw driver bit set that has multiple types and sizes of oddball screwdriver bits. There are flat, phillips, torx, torx security with a pin, 2 hole, clutch or butterfly, 3 sided and a few others. There is also a set with bit holders. The kits are very reasonably priced.

Don't drill, don't cut, don't do anything u til you take a picture of the fastener and either post it here for identification, search it on Google lens or take it to a hardware store and have them sell you the right tool for the job.

Depending on what screws you can cut a groove with a cut wheel just deep enough to allow you to remove the screws with a flat head screw driver especially if you are dealing with one way security screws

SOURCE: Disc Brake replacement

You need an impact screwdriver. You should be able to pick up a cheap one from your local parts store. You hit the impact screwdriver with a hammer and it forces the screwdriver bit to turn. But make sure you are using the correct size bit, or youll strip the screws and itll be a pain to get them out.

How to tighten the handle on an upright Kenmore freezer - model 970-187020

That model will not come up on the Sears site so I can't look at the picture breakdown. If the screws you see are tiny ones in the sides of the handle, then they are called set screws and require a small allen wrench which is a 6 sided L shaped rod. They usually come is a set. Can be purchased at Sears or any hardware/ tool store.

How do you replace the fan blower switch

Remove all screws, if any, around the radio and a/c controls. Carefully pry the bezel around the radio with a pry tool. Try not to use flat tip screw driver or you may put marks on your dash. The whole bezel will unsnap. A/c switch should be exposed with screws holding it. Remove screws

How to remove the funny shaped screws on microwave

ANTI-TAMPER SCREWS
If your model has anti-tamper screws, you can remove them using using a T20H Torx type or GTXH20-100 screwdriver. If the correct tool is not available, there are several ways to remove the screws:

- Use a hammer and a small punch or similar tool to knock out the middle post of the screw, then use a standard T20 Torx bit to remove the screws. (Use safety glasses).

- Insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver (such as a jeweler's type) into the slot between the post and the edge, tap the screwdriver firmly with a hammer to loosen the screw, grip the screwdriver with pliers, and remove the screw.

This detailed photo shows how a small screwdriver fits into the screw head:

- Use a hacksaw or Dremel tool to cut a slot in the head of the screw, then use a flat-bladed screwdriver to remove the screws. (Use safety glasses).

Cant get the door panels off

After you have removed any concealed screws (there normally aren't many), there will be plastic snap-in fasteners some of which will break when removed. You can buy a simple pry-tool at auto parts stores that can minimize the damage when removing the panels. The fasteners that break are generally available at auto parts stores as well and easy to replace.

I have a 1998 Ford Windstar and the turn signals aren't working. I have already changed the fuse and checked the bulbs. Please help!

Replace the turnsignal switch. These are not hard in fords. Remove 3 or 4 screws on the bottom of the column bezel, remove it. 2 or 3 screws remove the switch.

How dose the case come apart

usually with LCD monitors there aren't many screws holding them together, instead they are held together with plastic tabs. You need to remove any screws holding it together (if any) and you need to pull the case open with a butter knife or a special pry tool (flat head screwdriver wouldn't be a good choice because it leaves more marks). you need to insert the knife or whatever your using and pretty much pull it apart gently, this isn't easy to do and you can risk ruining the whole screen if your too aggressive when opening it. unless your trying to fix the monitor, you shouldn't open it because it usually will look like **** afterwards.
