Helo, My blue gate UPS working and not charging. please help.

I presume you have lights & sound on the controller when you turn it on - fourteen quick beeps and then a different toned fifteenth beep. The screen lights (blue). Insert the battery (lettering facing up toward the helo fuselage unitl it's seated all the way - an LED inside the fuselage, visible from behind, quick flashes and then begins a slower blinking.

Once the helo battery is inserted, turn on the controller, which starts the aforementioned beeping. On the last controller beep the helo's LED will stay lighted, indicating the helo & controller are synched.

I had a problem making sure the battery was inserted all the way into the helicopter. You'll know it's inserted properly when the LED inside the helo flashes.

There is a line detection circuit which is coupled to the logic gate to switch on the charging as it should activate the circuit.
So check from the circuit on the ac line detection and the signal feed to the circuit, there can be a failure on this circuit. Secondly there is a possibility that the relay for charging has failed.

Check the battery Voltage - it may not be fully charged.

Does the UPS work when A/C voltage is present, if yes remove the battery, confirm that the battery can retain charges by using external load with a multimeter to get a steady 12V for about 30 sec before the voltage starts to drop. If the battery does not retain charges, replace the battery. However, Not that when you open the UPS your are exposed to life Voltages and run a great risk of electric shocks. Experienced technicians are expected to work on this kind of equipment.

Two possibilities come to mind. 1) The battery has failed and can't be charged fully (usually one cell fails and it won't charge fully). I've diagnosed this by removing the battery and trying to charge it with a variable power supply. You can try replacing the battery.
2) The UPS itself is faulty and can't charge/maintain the battery. The entire unit should be replaced.

I recommend solution 2. I had the 725VA in this consumer UPS line and when I replaced the battery, the UPS could not keep the battery charged with any load on the unit.

Check your warranty, though. The APC warranty is for 2 years on this model.

no but I can tell you that for old ups mosfets are used and for new ups IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor )are used the IGBTs are not available on shops you have to take help of company

This sounds like your battery in on the way out and your UPS is telling you to replace it. If the UPS is 3-4 years old then its time to replace the battery, that is about the longest time to wait. The gel cell batteries will dry out because of the constant charge/discharge just like a car battery will. When the UPS senses a charge in the charging current/voltage signaling a dieing battery it will start beeping to warn you.

ups charged for 8 hrs .No alarms but on powerfail no output to connected device
