I have the same problem. The only way I can figure out how to reset the clock is to take out the batteries and put them back in at 11:59 pm or midnight. Replacing batteries reset the clock to 12:00 am. So if you do it at midnight, you'll end up with the right time. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to actually set the clock using the availble buttons.
Make sure the clock is in standby mode, as opposed to playback mode. Press time set button — the clock digits will blink. If they don't, you're in playback mode. Press the hour button to adjust the hour. Press the minute button to adjust the minute. Press time set button to confirm the time.
I have this clock and just finished getting it all working again. At first I kept messing around with the AAA batteries in the remote unit, finally realized there were AA batts in the back of the main clock/display unit. Replaced those, pressed the reset button next to the battery compartment. Pressed the reset button on the remote unit (it's under the back lid next to the AAA battery compartment). Little red light on the remote unit started flashing and remote temp showed on the main display. Then you have to wait for atomic time to reset itself or set the time and other display options manually - I kept messing around with the various buttons until I figured out how to do this (atomic time never reset) - start by holding down the smaller "AL" button on the top next to the big snooze/light button, use top two side buttons for up/down, use the AL button to go to next setting.
First, turn the Function Knob (bottom-left of the Control Panel) to “Clock”.
Hours: Press and hold the “HR” button to go through the numbers quickly. When the number displayed approaches the desired setting, release and press(pulse) the button to advance one digit at a time.
Note: When the number passes 12, the PM light will be displayed on the LCD.
Minutes: Press and hold the “MIN” button to go through the numbers quickly. When the number displayed approaches the desired setting, release and press (pulse) the button to advance one digit at a time.
To finish setting time, turn the Function to any setting other than "Clock", or simply wait until the numbers stop blinking.
