SOURCE: PFAFF hobbymatic 935 bottom-thread keeps breaking.
The Pfaff hobbymatic 935 was a mid to late 80's production machine (proudly made in West Germany, LOL) and was a transition between the older "oil me or I die" style of machine and the more modern "maintenance free" machines. Only one part of the machine needs to be oiled from time to time, the track around the bobbin. One drop of oil should keep her from snagging and breaking. If that doesn't do it for you try a newer bobbin thread as old thread can become weak sitting on the bobbin.
Hope this helps!

It is likely the the bobbin holder is jammed up with cloth or thread. Take the bobbin holder out and turn the machine by hand, if it does not move it could have a broken timing belt or slipping coupling.
SOURCE: need manual
This site, http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/pfaff-model-919-instruction-manual.aspx , has the manual for sale for $21.99. You can also ask about a Pfaff machine manual at an authorized dealer. Several companies will have the manuals for older machines available for little or no cost from the dealer.

(we got a Bernina serger manual for free from a dealer. We did have to provide the serial number of the machine (and were in the shop). Fortunately, we had needed to be in that area anyway.)
