SOURCE: my little brother was messing

dear friend,

1) Log in to your google account on your pc, the same account you registered for your phone

2) After logging in look at the top right corner of your inbox/email page, it would say your google username. Like say if you name is John, and you have a google id thats registered to your galaxy s as ,[email protected]. Now this google id on the top right corner of the page would be displayed as[email protected]

3) Type in the google id, thats visible on the right hand top corner of your page (like[email protected]) into your galaxy s handset locked page, and type in the password.

TADA AND YOUR ON TO THE NEW SCREEN TELLING YOU TO PUT IN ANOTHER PATTERN.

or theres this one:
Take out the battery, the sim card, and the SD card leave the phone for 2 to 3 hours like that.. Put everything back in and boot up the phone.. This should work.
You could try this instead of waiting 3 hours, just remove battery and press power on switch for 20 seconds but this may not work.

or if you've tried everything, the only other way would be to take it to a Samsung mobile phone shop.
or do a factory reset:
THIS WILL ERASE ALL YOUR DATA THOUGH
Go into recovery mode - vol up & home & power. Once in the menu, select factory reset. It may take you a couple of attempts to get to the recovery mode but it does work, just keep trying.

enjoy & Cheers

SOURCE: samsung galaxy s mobile completely

You can do a complete reset if you want and have no other option(this will erase all your data). To do this follow these steps.

  • Turn off your your phone
  • Now hold the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons (when you see the Samsung logo, stop holding it for half a second and then again hold it).
  • Scroll to wipe data/factory reset using the volume buttons. to select it press the home button

    • When that is done go to reboot system and select it.

SOURCE: my daughter entered the wrong

For all android devices a google mail account is needed for purchasing apps etc. if he did not set this up and had set the pass code without the email specified the only way to get back into the phone would be to do a complete reset. Before you do this have you tried restarting the device and seeing if it gives you the ability to try to enter the code again, if not here is how to do a factory reset. As stated below this will delete everything on the sd card so i would advise you copy all the files from it onto your computer. the entire process should only take about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the phone sometimes less than this, good luck!
Performing a factory reset (hard reset) If you're passing your phone on to someone else or your phone has a persistent problem that cannot be solved, you can do a factory reset (also called a hard reset). This returns your phone to the state it was in before the first time you turned it on. Note: Factory reset will not remove the data and files that are in your phone's microSD card. Factory reset is not a step to be taken lightly. It will permanently delete all your data and customized settings, and will also remove any applications you've downloaded and installed. Be sure to back up any data and files you want to keep before you do a factory reset. Performing a factory reset using phone buttons If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.

  1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button. Note: If you are not sure whether your phone's power is turned off, remove and then reinsert the battery.
  2. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
  3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
  4. Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.

SOURCE: Need to 'hard reset' my Samsung Galaxy Europa

I attempted the above in order to hard reset my Europa i5500. However, it didn't work, and instead just went back to the "enter address/password" screen. I've attempted to connect to Kies, but to no avail, Kies doesn't register that the product is plugged in. I can get the phone onto download mode and emergency download mode, however neither are helping me much. Any suggestions?

How to find IMEI code for S6

Samsung Galaxy S6: IMEI #:

To retrieve your IMEI #.. Here's several ways of doing it:

(1) The easiest way, on the phone call dial pad enter:
*#06#

(2) If you had cellular service on that device. Call your Service Provider for your IMEI #. They will have this available in their own records.

(3) If the phone was not activated on a cellular service yet, contact the Seller who sold it to you.. Many Sellers write down the IMEI # for their records.

(4) It could be on a label on the original box it came in..

(5) The other way to retrieve the IMEI # of that cell phone is to check your Google Account.. As long as you had set up your Google/Gmail account on your phone.

Here's how to do it:
On a computer internet browser, go to:
http://google.com/settings

Sign-in to your Google account and then select the "Expand All" tab which will list all your devices connected to your Google account and all of their IMEI #'s

My phone is locked, saying enter google account info but nothing works, also cant remember pattern either

Best Solution;
1. Power off phone
2. Press and hold Home Button ( middle ) + Volume Up + power on button
3. Wait for 5 second until Android System Recovery menu appear
4. There are 4 options

reboot system now
apply update from sdcar
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

5. Move the options to " Wipe data / factory reset " using volume down ( - ) button and menu button to confirm, because the touchscreen doesn't work in reovery mode
6. After the process done, phone will reboot.

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s and the lock

There are 2 solutions: 1. is to enter your google username (try just username and if not working add [email protected]) and in password field to enter number 0 that is number ZERO.
2. If other is not working you will have to reset to factory settings your phone, loosing all your data except on SD card.
For resetting your phone to factory settings you will have to enter recovery mode. Here are the steps: First try to enter Recovery Mode. There are a few ways to enter in Recovery Mode -> video link.Once in a recovery you can easily choose Factory Reset. On upper link you can find three ways to do it, and one way of doing it goes like this, it usually works:
1. Power Off your phone2. Press and hold Volume Up button + Power button + Home Menu button (just hold all three buttons at same time until logo appears)3. Select Wipe all data / Factory Reset (you select it with Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and execute it with Power button or in some cases with Home Menu button).
If you watch videos you will find same thing.
