One controller all the lights relatted to the batteries light up steady -I cant select a related battery to pair. The other controller the light goes round and round the battery choice but again I can't get it select a battery to essentially pair. Any suggestions.

The gem is behind the dash in the center, behind the radio. It controls whipers, anti theft, 4x4, cargo lamp, insterment cluster, plus a few other things. Hope this helps.

i have been through the same problem with mine. trust me if this is happening to you it is eitha the battery or the alternator. do not service!!!!!!!!!!!1 its awaste of money if this is your problem.

Just for thought try removing the light bulb under the hood, the socket my have gone bad and keeping the light on.
Good luck and keep me posted. Also not sure if your Liberty has one of the sun visor with a light switch on it, I found the one on my jimmy was always on thank's to my G/F putting things between the visor and ceiling.

there will be some fusable links at the + of the battery they look like plane wire but have very soft insulation you will need a tester light or multimeter to chec if the power is going through them and have a look at the inside of the battery terms for yukky corosion one more thing check the cable giong to the body from the - term that it is connecting properly tp the body surface

See if the front wheel speed sensor where not damaged by the repaire. The wires brake on these if your to ruff with them. They come right out of the wheel bearing
