CASIO has a FAQ for Basic Cash Registers, with a section with information about PCR-308 and other older cash register models:

Per the instructions on the Casio4Business Support website, you can do the following:

PCR 308, 350, 355, 408, 450
TO PROGRAM STATUS OF DEPARTMENT KEYS:

1. TURN KEY TO Z MODE
2. PRESS SUBTOTAL
3. PRESS 02 FOR TAX TABLE 1, 04 FOR TAX TABLE 2, 06 FOR BOTH TAX TABLES, AND 00 FOR NO TAX
4. PRESS DEPARTMENT KEY
5. REPEAT STEPS 3 & 4 FOR MULTIPLE DEPTS.
6. PRESS SUBTOTAL

Hi, I have a Casio PCR-T465. I'm a little stumped as how to change the GST & PST to just HST of 13%. I was wondering if you could help me out. Thanks!

You need to set one rate for HST and change your department links to look at the single rate. Which tax numbers do you use at the moment? E.g. tax1 PST, tax2, GST. We need to know which tax numbers are allocated for which tax types.

Our Casio PCR 355 batteries ran out over the weekend and we are attempting to restart. However the tax tables for Florida date back to 1994. Do you have a more current Tax Table calculation for Florida?

If you use break points in your state, then there may be a way to enter manual ones. Otherwise, for global tax, you can usually setup TAX2 as a manual percentage. Check your manual.
