From the moment you switch it on the compressor would start in approx 3 minutes and it will start getting cold after that.

Freezers high tempeture light is on and freezer is not getting cold

Door left open usually starts a defrost failure, the evaporator gets blocked with frost and the fan motor can't circulate cold air into the fridge section- while the freezer fan is running, put your hand in front of the slots where the cold air should be blowing in the fridge section- if you don't feel air flow, you have a blockage. Please can you help me my fridge peezer FFA60 FUTURE fridge freezer isnt working right, my freezer is great but my fridge seems to stop & start altough the light is still on, if I turn off plug it...

that model number does not come up in my program, so I cannot give you any concrete advice. The fact that your freezer is great is a good sign, nothing major. Sounds like you may have a bad freezer fan motor, not blowing cold air down to the fridge section. but the fact that it is intermittent like that, you might have a faulty main control board. Without proper inspection, I cant say for sure.

Mod. R47 gas RV fridge 1973. It lights and gets cold (sometimes below freezing in the bottom of frige) then it starts to warm up above 55, but the flame is still burning high. I try to turn it down with the fridge thremostate and it stays the same. Is it the thermostate? If so where can I order one?
