My husband died & I don't have the combination. How can I get into safe? Please Help?? Thanks,Wife.

    Hi Rick D., Can you please tell me the brand name of the safe? Probably there is no way to get in and the safe needs to be opened with professional help.

My suggestion if you ARE the wife:
First get a ***** certificate.
Have ID matching his, ie. driver's lic., mail, etc.

Go or call a lock specialist, tell them your problem. If you can contact the safe manufacturer, they may be able to help you too. Good Luck.

register and request the combination base on the serial number.
they should be able to send you the combination keys

SOURCE: know combination, but cannot open sentry safe 1250

If you know the combination:

1) Turn the dial to the left a few complete rounds, then stop on 1st number.
2) Turning the dial to the right, pass up the 2nd number once, then stop on it on the next round.
3) Turn the dial to the left directly to the 3rd number then stop.

The handle should open now.

With the information you provided, I am going to take a wild guess and say its made by SENTRY? You can contact them at sentrysafe.com, with proper documentation they will release the combination to you.

Try 159#, 159*, 195#, 195*. The electronic combinations I believe reset to factory preset number which I believe is one of the 4 numbers above I just can't remember which it is.

Brinks will not help you with this, but you should be able to get into the safe if you call a locksmith. Brinks use a really cheap lock tumbler on models similar to yours and it's easy to pick for a skilled locksmith. So easy, in fact, that you really won't want to use that safe again as it's really an unsafe...

Send in a request for a tool key or a set of instructions on how to change your currently forgotten combination lock. While they do not keep records of safe combinations, they are the best group to consult on how to crack their own security codes.

I would recommend calling a locksmith as it may be a cheaper solution than what the manufacturer has to offer.
