LG 60UH6035-UC has a grey glow and sound, but no pic

Red light on bottom will blink 3 times when I first turn it on. If I leave the TV on for a few hours, it will finally come on and it had a great picture. If I don't turn it off, it stays fine, but if I cut it off at bedtime, it takes forever to come back on

SOURCE: blinking red light, no picture or sound

You goingto need to replce the powersupply inside www.partstore.com should have it or preorder it for you from the manufacture i think there around $150 they could be cheaper. Another option is Ebay. thanks for using fixa.com please rate.

I have a lg tv 60 inch tv ln5600 when powering on red stand by light blinks 3 time then no light pic or sound not backlight and no image when using flashlight treid replacing power board does same

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

Hello, I have a 42"

Sounds like a backlight is out. If its still under warranty, exchange it. First try unplugging it for two minutes to reset the t.v.

I have a SONY KF-WE50 rear projection tv, a few weeks ago it started to turn the pic and sound off while the green light was flashing around 30 times. After the light finished flashing both the picture and...

the green is the reboot process and is normal.
the red light is an error code indicator.
count the blinks of the red light...it cant be 30 times (I think)
it will blink a sequence, pause, then do it again for a total of three times.
count carefully, it gives you three chances to catch the number it is blinking.

LG 42 LCD no sound or picture

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
