Canon mp 530 fax

How to change date on the fax machine

  • canon530 Jul 31, 2008

Lost my instruction manual for MP530.  Need specific instructions on how to change date/time on FAX.  It should not be that difficult IF it were on the menu.

Needless to say, this is my first and last Canon product.  Am set up to print wireless and if I'm attempting to print off multiple pages, the printer stops.  Must reboot internet connection, etc.  A real pain.

Just update your printer settings (save) in printer preferences. It gets the time/date from your computer.

I have A Canon Pixma MP-530 Printer,Fax,Copy Machine that's a couple of years old. It recently started making some weird loud grinding noises although it's still functioning okay. Would anyone know what...

best bet would be to wait till it blows up or even purchase another now so when it does go out you dont have to wait long but maintenance on a machine of that age is always gonna be more costly than finding a new one

hope this helps

There are 2 ports on the rear, 1 for the incomming phone line, and one to plug in a telephone handset (passthrough) if the telephone line is plugged into the wrong port, the fax machine is unable to dial properly, So try plugging into the other port on the back, it's just next to the other port hope this helps
