My admiral washer does the following: if set to cold wash it fills cold and works fine. If set to warm it fills cold but otherwise runs fine. If set to hot it fills hot but doesn't agitate properly. Hot and cold come from separate lines. Machine is about ten years old and otherwise functions normally.

Littleone.. please check your instructions.. some washers now dont need Hot water connection to them...they heat their own as part of the efficiency settings on the wash programmes themselves!
