Samsung Blu-ray touch panel isn't on anymore and I can't eject. Is there a reset or way to eject?

Touch panel is board faulty, replace the touch panel board.

To unlock the Blu-ray player, follow these steps:

1. Press the Stop button to place your Blu-ray player in stop mode.
2. Press 4-8-2-7-3 on the remote control. Lock Off will appear in the upper left corner of the TV screen.
3. Press the eject button on the remote control.
4. The disc tray opens on the Blu-ray player.

If this does not resolve your issue:

1. Unplug the player and hold the power button for about 20 seconds.
2. Connect the power cord again and with no disc in the player, press and hold the Stop button on the panel until your TV displays the message, "Resets all settings to the default values". After a few moments the Player will turn itself off.

First, try resetting your player. Unplug it from wall for at least 1 full minute, then plug it back in. If eject function (remote or top panel) still doesn't work:

MOST DVD players (including every one I have ever worked on or owned) have a tiny manual eject pinhole located close to the tray. You may have to gently open the flip door to see it. It is usually to the right of the disc slot, but could be underneath or elsewhere close by (use a flashlight, it can be hard to see). Carefully insert a straightened paper clip in the pinhole to eject the disc. (It shouldn't matter if machine is on, but for safety I usually do this with the machine OFF and unplugged).

If above fails, your only recourse is likely the disassembly of the machine (search "dvd disc stuck" on Google or YouTube), or taking your machine to a repair person. Best of luck to you.

FW Update 001016 will fix your issue on the E5400. Try going to the settings menu and under support check system update. If you can make through the menus it before it cuts you off you should be fine and this will NOT reset your player
Alternatively you must reset the player (I know...) by holding the STOP button on the touch panel for 20 seconds until the screen goes black and it will hard reset. This will take you through the initial setup where you can upgrade free of distraction.
This will not technically FIX the problem of the ghost pushing buttons, but it will at least leave you alone while it plays from your laptop.

Found out how to solve this problem, as it has put a child lock on the device, try holding the Stop button on the remote for five seconds. This resets the device, then turn it back on and it will go through inital setup and then try oepning the tray.

Are you using the remote or touch button on case to eject tray?
Sometimes the top lid gets warped and prevents the tray from opening. Press eject and lift the front part of the lid at the same time.

The Tech told me to unplug my blu ray. Then push the middle button on top for 10 seconds to reset it. Hope that helps. I didn't help me.

there should be a small hole on the front panel (just right for a straightened out paper clip) that you can insert the paper clip into and manually open the disc drawer. Have you tried unplugging the blu ray player and waiting for about a 15 count, Hopefully the indicator lights will come on when you plug it back in and power it on. If it's new take back to the store and let them correct the issue.

Try to reset the blu ray player's remote control.
Remove the batteries and hold down the POWER button on it for 30 seconds.
Then replace the batteries with fresh ones
