As I stated, if it is available it will be a free item. If it is not compatible, time for a new one. Or re-install W2000.

SOURCE: hp pavilion 6511 video card

It looks like you will be able to purchase just the ATI video controller for this machine - the part number for your machine is :-

P/N: 336970-001
DESC: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9200 (M9+P) graphics controller - With 64Mb of double data rate (DDR) SDRAM memory

I would still recommend getting this machine opened up and double checking the part number etc as they do occasionally revise parts that aren't 100% interchangeable.

SOURCE: Can I replace the driver of my HP enhanced multimedia PS/2 keyboard

Very unlikely. You may get a generic driver from MS, or even an updated on from HP. Work within Device Manager and don't let it manage you. Meaning it has a tendency to do what it thinks is best. There is a update, rollback and uninstall. Try uninstall and testing. gl

MK850 Keyboard used on 2 Laptops, with a different mouse used on both

nice post, but no problems stated.
no issues or bad symptoms stated.
why not try it first then ask.? if there is a problem.?

it is not a DELL keyboard, it's made by Logitech (top brand)
if they are old,???? both need a new battery or it will not work.
inside mouse, inside keyboard, wireless needs a good battery.

NO PC stated, DELL. just DELL. dell what? it has model.
NO OS stated, of the 100s possible.
if windows, say that and the version for 10x better answers.
is the PC on the internet (connected) if yes windows plug and play will load drivers to your alien keyboard/mouse.
but not if XP, I bet. i bet that fails hard.
XP can not use newer devices, on USB, do to its dead state.
Same is true of VISTA, (it too is dead for new things added)

this thing from year 2000?

My Dell XPS laptop cursor will move, but won't click. Keys won't click either

XPS means nothing it has full model number,
if you answer XPS at dell.com you get 24,000 hits, see why?
no model stated.
ask here
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/products/laptop/xps_laptop

its a laptop. with no OS stated, why post lacking what OS is there?
use a real USB mouse click control panel click system icon behold the OS is stated there.
we can not guess what you click, it needs to be stated
on my Laptop I use a REAL mouse, do you?
if the mouse pad below the space bar is used, is it.t
that is touch track pad,
if the keys fail, reload the dell drivers. for the pad.

when this happens someone installed the wrong OS
or installed the wrong drivers for the wrong OS.
did you do that?
Id say the driver is wrong, but we can not help lacking
1: no PS stated, full model.
2: No OS stated, windows what?
3: did you upgrade the PC OS at anytime or play with drivers?

How do I assign acer keyboard SK-9625 function keys?

tell why you do this?
tell the story,
i guess by the word ASSIGN, you mean to change how they work?
from normal, stock methods and how ACER designed your PC?

no PC stated or OS
this is MM keyboard from ACER, USB keyboard
yes, they do make macro keyboards, that allow one to have custom keykeys, or even generate strings of key presses.
why not RTM on this keyboard.

did just buy the keyboard used, and not with the PC it came with?
that it?
best i can tell Acer does not sell this keyboard, all by self.
so no books for it.
if you want to use it beyond what it can do or to use advanced features off this limited keyboard. find the PC it came with.

no PC stated
no OS stated
and only vague Function key questions, to do what. what is the end goal, and unstated.

Function keys 101.
there are BIOS hot keys that work just powered on to operate
custom BIOS features,
then there is F8 for the non windows 10 PCs, that can go to safemode. before, the OS runs.
Then the OS runs after login,
then the OS uses hot keys, there.
for sure on laptops, laptops have lots of special Function keys..
even for wifi, and volume sound, and more.
this takes working drivers in the laptop to do that. custom to that PC and that PC only.
and more, lots more.... but no goals stated or even hinted.

Wt is filter keys

wt? what is wt? is that greek?
ok its gross, slang, got it, lazy slang. what is only 4 letters.
and more clear. sure!.
hw = how?
so what is a filter key and how can I solve it.
Im a tech i dont do chat rooms, sorry.
No PC stated. 34 years of HP PC and not one stated.
name and model number
the keyboard there above is HP relic PS2 keyboard.
it will only work on HP PCs and only old ones.with PS2 jack at rear.

try this tell the helper
what you have before you.
what OS is there windows 2000, win 98? what ?
what are you attempting to do, tell your goals.
eg: I cant enter my password in the windows, login screen (example)
tell what you are doing and what happens wrong.

do not not use a HP PS2 keyboard on a DELL
or the reverse PS2 is unique to HP.
there is no filter keys on the board.
in fact I have no idea what you meant by filters.

there are vast language modes for keyboards
some keyboards long ago had switch on the bottom to make it work with older PC.
some even run both USB and PS2 and had a switch for that.
on the bottom.

my guess is your using the wrong keyboard,

The keyboard seems to stick on letters especially in email situation, however whenever I say it is cured then suddenly it is back, the keyboard is only 2 years old Hewlett packard model No.KU-0841 Pc City...

ok, NO PC stated, no model stated off the service tag on PC
Ok, no OS stated, no operating system stated, by you , sadly.
i will now look up you kbd spec. online. yours.
btw(bytheway): we are not HP, here, just free help..

. HP does have a real forum BTW2: ask, ?

first POST your PC model and with the OS(windows what?) they must work together as team see? the 841 is just a generic HP USB keyboard.
That Keyboard must work right on all USB jacks. did you try them all?,

did the OS, show actions/sounds installing that KBD. the sound will make a ding sound with it attached and then if on the internet you get the driver automatically using Plug and play, methods why post lacking the key facts? what PC , is it HP if yes, what model number? what OS, is it windows what, linux, or Freedos.
Tell me you are not running XP or VISTA OS, both are now dead.
Dead means also, no PnP magic, at microsoft, they turned it off.

in Europe they install many versions of the OS on PCs there, we here in gren'go land USA can not guess that ever.

Windows: (topic) only
\make sure its on the internet first. (how to do that lacking keyboard, ouch) then plug in the keyboard and for sure a USB mouse. next, using the mouse, click control panel then device manager, (more hard in XP say so if XP say so!) then see the keyboard section there click view tab and then set show hidden devices. now look here. and uninstall all keyboards seen there. first. using only a mouse. then connect THE keyboard. the PC will now be forced to use magic plug and play and the keyboard drivers are installed and now it works
best of all be internet connected or some drivers will fail.

Recap, try all USB ports. get the fresh keyboard driver now it works see?
There are other causes of failure here, OS infected, and more.
We do many tests to find it , if the above steps fail.
(we even run a live boot OS off a memory stick to see if it works)
if it does we know your windows is corrupted,
and more, ask.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/

no PC stated, my guess not HP puter.!!!
NO OS stated. (not all OS caN RUN IT)
only THIS
5187-7583 this is a reclic PS2 keyboard, Ill quote HP:"
HP Multi-Media keyboard 5187-7583 uses a PS/2 connector, and is over a decade old.

do not move PS2 devices from one maker to other. ever.
they are not standardizes like USB are.

see?

WE STOPPED USING ps2 DEVICE IN THE LAST CENTURY
Why are you using this? now, in 2017
did you know, (can prove it) that some PCs cant even send enough power to many PS2 devices,
that is because it is NOT THERE device.

solved, buy USB devices.
and end any usage of XP now. for ever.
and win.

Office depot ativa keyboard and windows 2000

If your keyboard is the most basic as you state then surely Windows 2000 should have the drivers for this keyboard in it's Windows Cab files. If however there is a problem with the keyboard it best to go to Device Manager and see what Win 2000 is complaining about. It may also be that you have used a PS2 keyboard before -this will bring about that Win2000 will be looking for the old Keyboard and ignore the USB one. In device manager klick on keyboards-in the dropdown right click on your keyboard-click uninstall.Let windows then uninstall the keyboard and restart with your USB board connected.Windows should pick it up and install.Regards
