Just bought a Nokia 3310 classic. have received texts from 02 & friends on different networks but the most important person in my life is with 02 but cannot send me texts. can you help, please.

you need to check the msg center number on your phone.

So call you provider and have them give you the msg number

Hey, I just bought the same phone from ebay, and it was preflashed for cricket too. My phone had the same exact problem. I called cricket technical support at 1-800-274-2538 and they refreshed my flashing while i was on the phone with them. As soon as I got off the phone with them my phone worked perfectly. Important!: When creating a message, adding an image, a sound file, or a video clip to a text message changes the message from a text
message to a multimedia message.

Note: A multimedia message should only be sent to a phone which can
support the receipt and display of this message type.

Note: If you exit from this View screen, you will need to go to the Messaging ➔ Inbox screen, the Recent Calls screen, or you will need to dial your Voicemail contact to access your messages.

Note: Messages can also be accessed by navigating to your Inbox (Menu ➔ Messaging ➔ Inbox).

Messaging Settings page 72 in your manual:
You can set up various options for using messaging services.
1. When the Idle screen displays, press the Menu soft key,
then select Messaging ➔ Messaging Settings.
2. Select the type of message settings that you want to
change.
• Text Message
• Multimedia Message
• Voice Mail
• Push Message
• Broadcast Message (SIM card dependent)
3. Press the Select soft key or the key.

minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone
