you have a heating element burnt out. You will need to remove the back of the dryer and in the bottom of the dryer casing you will see the element Looks like a toaster element. Take model and serial # to an appliance parts house for replacement. An appliance tech shouldn't charge you that much to repair if you dont want to do it yourself.

It is possible the heater element is faulty or a thermostat problem.
You need to test the element and stat's with a meter to check for continuity.
