Make sure its plugged in. Yup. Might be a fuse or Power supply is dead. these are all internal.

Three beeps and the space lights blinking means the batteries are bad replace them and be sure the holder is clean.

Could be many things. Take off the case and look for parer clips, staples or other debris on or under the PC board or in the power supply.

Check in the area where the printwheel is installed for paper or other debris. If it does the same thing with the printwheel out then it is probably a printwheel sensor.

either the carriage home position sensor flag is broken or the daisy wheel can't find home. try removing daisy wheel and re-installit. turn unit on and see if daisy wheel spins if it does then the carriage home position sensor has a problem.

The ribbon may not be fully seated on the ribbon deck. The blue latch has to hol it in place.

Turn the sound off of IBM Wheelwriter 3.0 Series II

The only sound you can turn off is the optional spell check feature which is done by holding down the code button (left of the spacebar) and then hitting the number 1. Any other beeps cannot be turned off.

Carriage wont respond

Perhaps the L. Mar. is set there. Turn it on wait for the por sequence to complete, touch the mar rel key, back space to the far left, press L. mar key. If that dosen't do it tou must have some lights flashing and/or beeping, What lights and how many beeps?

IBM wheelwriter 15 Series II not working

It sounds like the keyboard is bad. Check the two bflat connectors from the keyboard to the PC board, if they are connected ok a keyboard is in order.

Tabbing

Have you set a tab where you want it to stop? If it wont keep tab settings after being turned off it may need batterys.
