I'm uncertain whether you need further assistance, but I found this info regarding the Lump Sum Method, on Peachtree Support:
When the employee is given
their annual amount, you enter the number of hours as a positive number
in the vacation field. On the check stub, the YTD column on the vacation line
reflects their current balance. When they use vacation hours, you enter them as
a negative number in the same field. That automatically reduces the YTD balance
of vacation on their stub.
If that is what you are doing, and the YTD balance isn't changing, then I
would run Data Verification from the File menu.
