How do I use a Koss DVD KD 210 without a remote?

I had the same problem and it took an act of Congress to solve it. However, I can tell you that through much more hard work and time than it should have taken I discovered the infrared code for my "One-For-All" remote model URC-4021B00 is--0651. Not sure if it's the same for any other remote control models, but give it a shot.

Make sure you dont have a disk in the tray. Hit the Pal.ntsv button 2-3 times. You will get the picture back. If not, then you also hit the p.scan button. Hit that button 2-3 times till you get the picture back.

You Can By A Universal Remote At Any Wal-mart, Rite Aid,Radio Shack And Program It To Your T.v.

SOURCE: French langauge is programmed into a Koss DVD model KD 260-2. No remote. Would a universal remote help me change this DVD player to play in english?

I'm sure you can find a universal remote that will let you change that setting, but you'll have to look around. The cheap ones do NOT let you change very many setting, especially Language setting. Check electronic stores and associates and I'm sure you'll find one that'll work.
