SOURCE: can not find contact tips for clark 100e mig

clark welders are made in Ohio,I think the town is called Lima.The best thing to do is call the factory and they will tell you where the closes place is were you can get tips.

SOURCE: I need contact tips for a Clarke Mig welder 100E

Substitute your clark tips for Tweco ones, which are available at all welding stores. Find your nearest Praxair location in the website www.praxair.com.
Part number os TWE 11-30 or TWE 11-35 depending on the size of your wire .030 or .035.

It is likely the SCR's failed. It is much cheaper to replace those than the entire board. Also look for bulging electrolytic capacitors as they would indicate a shorted condition as well.

I have a clarke 100E MK2 gas mig. Will I get a better weld by using a flux core wire in conjuntion with the gas or is this just overkill?

Hi:
It's redundant if the wire is fluxcore, gas does not help here. BUT if you use a DUALSHIELD wire then the quality of the welds are outstanding, even if you use pure CO2 gas.
Best Dualshield wire out there is ESAB's 710X and it is not expensive.

I am having problems having the welding wire travel through hose. Some times I can get the wire to run through some times the wire runs uneven and some times the wire does not run at all. I wast more...

Have you change the gun liner? Change if you haven't done it in the past year.
