check the heater coils (ohm check IAW with mfg spec). There might be a pair in parallel and one set shorted out.t.

My lg tromm DLG3788W gas dryer is not heating, it says check filter. other wise it works fine. where is the filter at, i know the one where i open the door and clean the vent everytime i use it. thanks
I just cleaned those sensors at the bottom of the filter, it worked like a charm. The dryer is now drying perfectly, I did not know you were not supposed to use fabric sheets with this dryer. Now I know, Thank you for the good information.

Gas dryer LG DLG3788W
Take a 2 inch putty knife and slide in the separation gap just above the door.  There are 2 catches on each of the panel about 3 inches from each side.  Push in to release the catch and the top panel will pop open.
